I'm sure the caption about forgetting to get her a present is a joke, however unless it is all apart of the joke, it makes it sound like they haven't exchanged gifts yet so maybe back up to Sydney for Christmas Day within the next 5? Or they could give each other their gifts after Christmas Day since they are meant to be doing something for NYE but, like, where's the fun in that!?

My guess is that Drew will head up there after Xmas. I can't see either of them spending Xmas Day away from their families this year.

I'm sure I'll only get bashed for this, but while I definitely agree that it's good and healthy and they seem to be doing great with it, it would be kind of weird for them not to spend SOME time together over the holidays. That's all. Not a nutter.

Bashing you is not an option. The thing is that they have very established friends and family groups in their respective cities. I have no doubt that they want to spend time together over the holiday period, but whether money or commitments to family and friends mitigate against this, only time will tell :)

What do you even count as "the holidays" starting and ending - what are the accepted periods here?

Fair enough. I just think it would be tough enough that I'd make it happen, in their shoes. Especially after a couple of weeks apart after weeks of constant togetherness. But I get it. Hopefully we'll have lots of photos of K&L baked goods and Ben's Christmas pyjamas to fill the void in here. :)

I think what you said is perfectly reasonable...I'd find it weird too if the circumstances were different. I said I can't see them missing Xmas with their respective families this year purely because of how long they were away from them and the BB commitments they had after. Next year however (providing they're still together of course) I wouldn't be surprised if they're together for Xmas. Their finances will be more sorted and they won't have disappeared for 3+ months from their family and friends. Up until when we found out the Today Show gig wasn't just a once off and was continuing, I was still kind of convinced Tully was going to be back in Melbourne this week. I do think like I said though that he'll head up there Boxing Day or the day after as I'm pretty sure I remember Tully saying something about her, Drew and Tim doing xyz for NYE in Sydney.

I'm feeling the way you do tbh. It would be weird not spending time together. I do understand that they have families in different cities, but they need to find time for one another around this time to really platform special times IMO.
