Ended up doing the female catheter in front of 12 first year RN students and to be honest, getting it in first jab was more good luck than good management! I couldn't even see the urethra! I just shakily made a gentle stab, threaded in and struck straw coloured oil!!

The SPC was far easier.

You can't believe what I did last night though!

Good on you, TraLa. I am still suffering from a damaged urethra from a catheter after my surgery 5 weeks ago. Keep going with that 'gentle stabbing'.

Hope your let is okay - and never mind, you can't always wear the sexy underwear. You need to be comfortable at work.

While it is horrible that you have so many blockages in your right leg, I wasn't sharing your experience was I? I was sharing my own... actually...

What surgery did you have Sister Father?!

I had a less than ideal catheter experience when I had a caesar, and it has forever scarred me.

I was very VERY gentle. I think the worst part about inserting is the lady garden is like a secret area of hidden crevices and trying to locate the right hole is easier said than done. That God of yours really could have designed us a little better! Personally I think a purple arrow pointing to it would help immensely!

My leg is okay thanks. I have a 20cm x 10cm bruise, but it should reabsorb without problems. I am now on a weeks holiday and I have nothing planned which is making me feel so happy I could scream!!
 
I had a hysterectomy, [MENTION=30612]TraLa[/MENTION] (following a hysteroscopic ablation a few weeks earlier). Ended up with the urethra damage, a haemotoma and infected wound site. They've extended my sick leave until 16th December! Bit of a rort for a priest. lol. However, I will be busy when I get back and I am working on my Christmas services from home (honest, truly).

As for our design, I'm not sure I agree. God certainly DID do a good job sticking our noses so far away from the bits that smell bad. However, I do see your point about the arrow. God was probably not thinking we would be sticking tiny plastic tubes up there.

I am sorry to hear you haven't been well.

While you have had the bulk of the baby making factory completely demolished, I guess you can rejoice in the fact you and your husband can still enjoy playing in the baby making gift shop!

It is terrible to hear you have had urethra damage, because that usually comes down to poor insertion technique, and your infected wound site sounds like compromised aseptic technique. Basically a quinella of shoddy nursing. For some reason some nurses just can't get their heads around the importance of sterile wound dressings. I watched a wound dressing by a CN last week, and judging her on technique she should have just sneezed in the wound and been done with it. If you cough into sterile gloves they are obviously not sterile anymore, they are now pathogen infested plastic things invading and infecting everything they touch.

Hey but back to ladygardens. I'll have you know, my lady garden smells like lavender with just a hint of tuna!

Get well soon! It is Jesus's birthday in a few weeks and they need you at the party!

I'm very pleased to hear your lady garden is so fresh, but I'm not planning on popping around for a sniff!

And I won't miss the party, I get to light the candles and hand out the food and wine.....

Im Back slappers! Since we last parlezed I have been everywhere man!

I saw about 3 eps of bbau in total. I really liked the blue healer! mr Clooney? he was a scene stealer.

I am back home at straddie but I have to go back to Europe in Jan to settle a contract. I have an offer to be in Germany for 5 years as a session recording artist. To be totally frank (HI Frank) its too good to pass up.

So I need someone to babysit my house lol.

While I am at it for people like megan wally allican etc, I have a new lease on life here...sorry.

Back in oz till 4th jan, hey I may play a song if I can remember how!

How are the alpacas? was it Frank the Alpacca?

I can never tell if your absences are due to you really being a rock star Green Peace whale saving adventurer, or if you are in fact a compulsive lying recovering alcoholic, who slips off the wagon every now and then and is admitted into rehab every few months..

Not really I don't think. I am relatively new myself, given the fact I have been a member just over a year. I seriously miss eliza, she was good in the off season. She would always give Unkie Ders a run for his morality. I think a lot of the off seasons posters have moved on to greener pastures. I know my presence here caused a few to take a vow of indignant forum silence.

That Jade thread is hilarious. I love the fact they spend all day fighting among themselves as to whether her and Ed are destined to be together like it is some fucked up Twilight novel. It seems there is a Team Edward Loves Jade and a Team Edward So Not Loves Jade. No winners of course, just two sides of loserville fighting in a forum over people they don't know while life passes them by.

Well Thank You midshipmistress! LOL Of the 3 possible guises for my good self, Possibly a conglomerate of all 3, although I never Lie about Rock stuff...the size of a wave (or Fish)...and how abusive I can be to people at airports.

I have also given up smoking. Benson & hedges emailed to say they will now have to pull out of Australia. Pussies! Christopher pyne tree was too busy to comment.

...here you go my dear sweet TraLa... as per your request... mission accomplished!... I've deepened the colour and have sharpened it up to compensate for blowing it up a lot larger so you will see a little bit of a difference in the quality... I would love to see the end result of your little project... it sounds awesome!...

...sorry about the delay... I've been doing a little project of mine for another part of this website and have only just come back to the forums late tonight lol!... cheers.
