I think he is a brat personally, I just don't see why tahan should be looked down on all of a sudden because he face times her. That just makes no sense to me. I hope she doesn't get blinded by his fame either, but she can enjoy the moment I think.

Yes, I agree. The first one and I'm not upset with Tahan for knowing him. Good on her. I'm upset with the housemates being connected to some sort of fame. It's not the Big Brother it used to be.

Oh, yes, I actually understand that. I don't think a hm shouldn't be picked if they do have some connection with a star though, but this year there were too many hms chosen with this background. Maybe not more than half of the hms picked to be in the bb house should have affiliations to stardom though. I think that way they can keep the tradition of past hms and still go with the direction that channel 9 want

Hmmm…It seems that you are condemning the ones without connections to being eviction fodder. The top three all had links to the media/fame etc. Granted Heidi and Tully did too, but I think it's a slippery slope.

IMHO Tahan and Tim were two of the most interesting and engaging HMs this year. They deserved to be in the finale REGARDLESS of their media connections. They did not get there BECAUSE of their connections.

if you were in Tahan's position - wanting to build up a profile in order to get opportunities to work in television etc you would not be knocking back a call or invitation from someone like Beiber even though he IS a massive PITA and looks to have started down the slippery slope ... he is still massive ...

she's in a no win situation though - his fans will hate her (jealousy) but then they'd hate her if she said no (way too stuck up etc etc)
They'll find a way to turn on her no matter what

Yep. Agree.

His fans will move on quickly though, especially when they find out that it was an innocent exchange.

Don't think so. I don't think many people would have heard of Tahan before BB, and the only connection she really had was David. Jade's work was all done in Italy, she had no connections/fame here. Tim would have won regardless of whether he had connections or was a nobody.
