...hey TraLa... we never ended going out tonight so I had a crack at what you were wanting... this is my first attempt at what I think that you're after... is it anything like you wanted?... if not just tell me what to change and I'll do it... I made her lipstick and shoes the same colour because I thought it looked more 'matching' so to speak...

...there are two versions... the first is the same light version the same as the original... the second I made a tad bit darker just to see what it looked like... (I like the first one better)... I made the images to be quite large... (914 X 1161)... your original image was only 353 X 450 which was just under half the size of what I've done... this new size is perfect to print out as an A4 print now... (I've done one lol!)...

...anyhow... if neither of these are what you want just let me know and I'll fix it up to what you want done sweet TraLa... cheers.

...hey TraLa... the hair and the pink background behind the envelope are actually the same colour... it's just that because the colour in the girls hair is in a more confined space it makes her hair look more vivid... it's an 'optical illusion-y' type thing... what I've done with the envelope pic is I've made it a tad bit darker and added a bit more contrast to make it similar... that's about as good as it can get I'm afraid... I hope that it's okay... here is the original...

Sorry I had to jump in this conversation. I have been surrounded by the hair industry since a child. When I was younger I would help my relatives in the store and as I got older I was allowed to deal with reps. Relatives of mine have started two brands of salon range hair care and I have seen the behind scenes of marketing and production. [MENTION=29803]mutleyp[/MENTION], the shoots are actually really fun and never uncomfortable. My relatives just for fun had my hair made up (they are also hairdressers) and I did a few shoots recently, [MENTION=35181]Mrs Butterface[/MENTION] is right, I had the biggest confidence boost. I might put the photo up later in my avatar if I'm brave enough. But if you are wanted because they want to campaign your salon, then go for it! Think of it as a defining moment in your life where you can look back and feel lucky and privileged to be a part of.

Jump on in babe! Would love to see if you feel comfortable putting it up! I really have enjoyed the few demos I have done, the days are long and boring, but results are fun, she took some candids when I was in last and said she has gotten some good feedback so I guess thats a positive, I think its because it will be used in a social media context, and I have removed myself from social media for various reasons so thats my issue with it, I don't mind if it was in house, but when its out there, and yeah people can put comments up, you know what they say "What people think about you, is none of your business" haha! But she is very good to me, so Im conflicted

Oh gosh! Every time I get my hair cut my hairdresser ties to get me to model for him, he loves my hair. I couldn't do it, to have my photo out there like that, same reason I could never be an actress or on the TV, I'd hate to be in the spotlight all the time. It would be fun to experience though I guess, but I'd want the final photos for myself, not the general public...

Although I don't know if he only wants me for my hair. If that is the case [MENTION=35181]Mrs Butterface[/MENTION] and @Sewwt_Geek, you have convinced me to maybe give him a shot. I could use a confidence boost.

I say do the demo stuff! Its good fun, get to experiment and they do things that suit you, lots of freebies too

I will ask her more about it I guess, I mean if its a friend doing pics I could be like ok as long as I can pick and choose and you can then pick from those, but if she said we'd be getting someone in I don't think I would do it because then she kind of paying for the service and if I didn't like them, I can't really tell her she can't use what she paid for if that makes sense? It is flattering without a doubt but not cos Im in any way attractive I just have a lot of very pliable hair If I saw me out, I wouldn't give myself a second glance

I had a minor operation that went wrong a couple of years ago and ended up in ICU with a catheter. One of the more unpleasant experiences of my life hahah feels so weird when they remove it. Probably TMI.

Oh my God!

Ended up doing the female catheter in front of 12 first year RN students and to be honest, getting it in first jab was more good luck than good management! I couldn't even see the urethra! I just shakily made a gentle stab, threaded in and struck straw coloured oil!!

The SPC was far easier.

You can't believe what I did last night though!

I will just cut and paste my facebook status for you all to snort evilly over.

I learned the hard way why adults should not throw toddler like tantrums. I stamped my foot in exasperation at work last night and caused a cluster of veins in my lower leg to explode! I found out it is all fun and games until you find yourself needing an emergency ultrasound from the groin to your ankle, by a hot radiographer, and you realise you have the ugliest undies of all time on!! While the radiographer may forget my face, I guarantee he will never EVER forget my hideous underpants!!!!!
