yeah i think it's weird with all of them...i'm not on twitter or myspace etc but from the links i've seen people post here some nuts ask them all questions like "so are you with ****" and "where's ****" and "follow me pleeaaasssseee" and "can you like my page" etc and it makes me wonder what kind of people are out there haha. Why are you contacting someone you don't know and begging them to respond to you? haha whatever happened to the good old fashioned fan letter that you send to a fan club (never did that either, except to father christmas).. technology brings out all the crazy's.. everyone thinks they're a star..

It's a mess, imagine being at school with this shit?
Twitter, in particular, harbors a lot of nasty people and they attack in packs and it doesn't really seem to be policed.
That might change now that Twitter has been sold to the stockmarket, however.

I remember the thread clearly, it was clear tully was trying to get to him from over the fence..every conversation was about jade, how she was making him look stupid....and while yes it did make him look weak tully made him look worse and everything she complained about jade doing she did 10 times worse. Yes. Seems everyone here fan-girling over Drew and Tully have forgotten important details of their relationship. They didn't naturally fall in love, it was a target and conquer mission by Tully. Props to her. She's got some serious skill. Jade should have taken note, Ed would have fallen for her 10x faster if she had have taken a page from Tully's book.

If Drew and Tully are happy now then fantastic, but let's not idealise it and try and forget how it started.

TV ads for magazines are quite common - 15 second clip, highlights the 'main' cover stories, then ends with "all this in the latest issue of Woman's Day, out now"

Yeah there are a lot of psychos on twitter..... some people are just hateful trolls, others are obsessive fans who just want to be acknowledged by their fave I guess. Too much time on their hands imo!!

Yeah, social media really brings out the crazies. I clicked on a pic that Drew liked on instagram which happened to be from one of Tully's brothers, and there were people posting on his pic to please ask his sister to follow them. Some people have no shame.

totally! i would have been eaten alive had i gone to high school during this "social media" crazy-ness. Scary stuff, too much information about everyone, all the time. Poor school kids now, we use to have the popular kids i guess but now days they are all super stars on facebook, tits out, scary skinny, tongues hanging, fish facing....every thing is for show now days....this sensitive little petal would not have stood a chance haha.

Please don't take this personally or as an attack, but I feel like both jade and tully went for the target and conquer approach, Tullys was more aggressive, that's all. That's my opinion ofcourse. But I've always felt like jade knew what she wanted in ed, and kept persisting her way there.

Yes Jade definitely did that to Ed, I'm not sure if Tully did, I think Tully was just being a mate and didn't realise what was happening, she eventually realised and kept going.
Ed and Tully are very similar in that they denied that anything romantic was happening when it clearly was.

She sure did, the difference is Tully snared Drew, but it never seemed that Jade snared Ed, which is what made the Jaded saga so excruciating to watch.

I thought tully knew exactly what she was doing. She was instantly attracted to drew IMO. Her bio from the OS site described someone like drew in looks to be her type and what she was attracted to. Whether she meant to fall for him as hard as she did is another thing altogether though.

I agree ed and tully are the deny deny deny type. Ed definitely felt something for jade but I'm still up and down with him. Maybe he really isn't the affectionate type or the type to give too much away. I'm still sitting on the fence with him.

That's where I see the differences too. For me I was annoyed that they had fallen for each other and made that emotional connection because she was in a relationship. I cringed at watching jade and ed because I felt it was one sided, well that's how I felt anyways

I should have prefaced my post by saying that while I think both Tully and Jade did it, I do think they did it in different ways. Jade's approach I always thought was to just keep persisting and hope for the best. Tully's was a lot more calculating. I've been re-watching the series from the start and you can actually see her systematically filling his mind with drivel about everyone he was close to until she has him just for herself. I've never seen such a brilliant display of gaslighting. Again, not hating on Tully. It's actually pretty impressive in a morbid kind of way. Love her or hate her she was an interesting HM.

You're probably right, at that stage I was still gaga for Tully and thought everything she did was wonderful lol.
I've given up with Ed, who knows, I believe Jade could do better.
