You all really do have to at least read some of the comments, they are so funny. You have to click again to actually *see* it. So one click is safe, two clicks is not ;)

Not clicking. No way. Just had mine removed less than two weeks ago. Don't need reminding of potential pain in that area. (hysterectomy for those of you wondering)

...qtkt... are you actually a Vicar?... if so... it would explain the 'Eye of God Nebula' as your Avatar!... just curious... lol!... cheers.

Yes, I am Sticky. A genuine, dinky-di Vicar - or Priest in Charge is the Australian term. I am often likened to the Vicar of Dibley if you are familiar with her. Here I am at work - don't know how to link to a post in another thread - but this was in the Show your pets thread on 6th October.

How appropriate to start this thread today. For many churches, today was a celebration of St Francis and we had a Pet Blessing at our church today. We're only a small parish but we had 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 4 birds. We were expecting a piglet but it got too upset when removed from it's mum.

Here's me blessing a parishioner's dog named Jack.

To be likened to the Vicar of Dibley is such a high acknowledgement, a wonderful compliment, way to go qtkt!!!!! :)

Of course she is!

It would have been inappropriate for me to go searching for vicar outfits for a non vicar! I do have some standards you know!

True dat!

I know!! I keep thinking WHY?? and HOW?? That piercing is not going on my to-do list that's for sure!!

It seems so pointless.

You would need a miners hat and a pair of stirrups to be able to see the fucking thing!

Thank you all for justifying my reaction and I'm super impressed with everyones sense of adventure!

Also anyone who hasn't read Enders Game... It will break your feelings.

I love it how on the very last episode Richard Armitage explains the joke to Alice and she finally gets it!

qtkt - I wonder if you might have known my aunt, who was the minister at Millmerran some years ago - Pat Hutchison?

Speaking of which there was that sports science show on OneHD this morning, I usually love it but today they showed how impact can rupture a spleen.
They got a real pig spleen and put it in a dummy and had a boxer punch it....apparently the left and right hooks in boxing are for the spleen and liver *shudders*

Hi all, just a quick pop in to wave and say hey. My beloved Bentley (pictured in my avatar) has succumbed to Parvo despite beig totally vaccinated. Not sure how or where he got it but he's currently in the vets doing his best to fight it off. I'm so upset cos he's my best friend. I really miss him. Hopefully he gets through this and returns home soon. Not sure why I'm even posting this, but Im so devastated I had to share. Please spare a thought for my boy. I love him more than anything.

Please say a prayer for my baby boy.
