The walking Dead

This show scares me to death. I have to watch the talking dead first and then the episode.
How much later do you guys get this than the US? I want to be careful not to spoil anything.
Usually within an hour on Foxtel (read cable) mind you that's like 2pm our time so most don't watch it until the night.
Don't worry about spoilers though as it's implied that you might get some if you read a thread in here.
one thing kept bugging me throughout the episode... WHY DIDNT THE SICK PEOPLE HAVE MASKS ON ARGHHHHHH!!!!
generally masks are to keep other people safe from you, not you safe from other people.
i know not a terribly big issue, just irked the crap out of meespecially when Hershel got a face full of blood.
edit:half way through Talking Dead ....marilyn manson *face palm*
Good lord..that Marilyn Manson mumbles worse than Ed.I had to keep skipping past when he was talking it was that irritating.
Maybe they didn't have enough masks or figured since they were quarantining them that it wasn't necessary.Hershel..omw
what was he thinking
Well it wasn't. It was Carol. I'm actually really liking Carol. I feel like she's grown - especially lately.
Much better indeedI hate waiting a week for a new episode though.
I do wonder where it's going. I think they're trying to get them away from the prison now though. What with the breakouts of sickness, etc.
They might stumble upon the governor again though. That's an unresolved plot.
Carol has turned out to be badass but I wonder if she burned the bodies to hide something, maybe that weird girl did it..she is a bit out of it.Carol has changed though before she would of reacted differently with the kid but she just put her in there with the rest of the sick kids,I think she is losing her humanity a bit.
I hope to see more of the world too but I suppose they are trying to make it like if this actually happened..what would you do where would you go?

Carol has been through a lot since it started. I can't remember the weird girl though. Do you mean the child? I'm unsure. I have a bad memory.
Carol might be losing her humanity a bit. She's becoming more calculated and not emotional. But I think that's a good trait to have in this situation. However I don't want her to become an ice cold queen. I want her to retain some form of emotion. I guess we will see.

Yes that girl who was naming the walkers, cant remember her name.
Carol I think started switching it off after she lost her daughter,I guess you can only lose so much before you crack..Rick has lost it and come back so maybe now it is Carols turn.
Gotta stop watching this show before going to bed. NOthing scary about it but I'm getting sick of "don't let the zombies catch us" dreams,
This morning in dream land, my crew and I discovered that an abandoned firestation (complete with lotsa firetrucks and buses outside) was a pretty good place to stay above the zombie hoards.
Gunna work on getting a big tar ditch dug around it tonight and build a trebuchet or two to throw 44 gallon drums of fuel and burning tar&haybales at them tonight.
Now, I wonder how far away the coast is an a suitable island.
Pity we can't eat meat any more but hopefully fish will be ok.

I would love to see a celebrity zombie! Surely some celebrities turned??
Tip: Never eat while watching TWD!!
When are Darryl and Carol gunna get it on?
And loved how they always manage to find a new level of gore. Getting a car bogged on a pile of zombies was great!!!
I agree would be good to see them find a new place/setting

I learnt the "never eat while watching TWD" last week. I was eating dinner and lets just say dinner stopped.
There have been some interesting levels of gore this season. The zombie cutting itself on the fence was one that grossed me out.

I would love to see a celebrity zombie.Surprisingly I have no trouble eating during walking dead..Bones thats a whole other story
Hoards are cool...does anyone read zombie books?
I love the Walking Dead, after BBAU its the best show going. I have not read the comics and don't think I will as I don't enjoy spoilers.
I know they are busy just surviving and finding food and shelter. But the zombies seem easy to herd, why don't they dig large pits, lure them in, douse them with gasoline and burn them? I would do that on a daily basis. That would help keep them off the fences, make it safer for Hershel and others to venture outside, etc.
They better not kill off Hershel, he and Darryl are my two favorite characters but I'd also hate to lose any more of the originals.
I just think Hershel provides a good balance to all the horrors, his presence is quite calming, supportive and nurturing.

totally. the prison is becoming a lot like the farm zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzI agree would be good to see them find a new place/setting
they're even farming.
but i think they'll be on the move soon.
they'll need to get away from the sickness and i dont know how far away that horde is or if its coming in their direction but there is no way the prison fences could hold against something like that.

Finally watched the last episode. Another hoard! Cool. I like the hoards
That's was one big arse hoard :|

I don't, but I wouldn't be against it. Maybe I should look into it.
I don't read TWD comics either. But maybe I should. Although now I'm so far into it that I feel like maybe I would spoiler myself or get bored.

I hope Hershel doesn't die either. He does provide good balance.
That idea about the pits are cool though! But then the story would be boring

With a big hoard potentially heading their way, I think they'll have to move on. I think the fence will fall.

Thanks for that

Watching now, not sure if I'm a fan of the new GIRL POWER Carol.
I like the new Carol. It's a pity Rick kicked her out though. Freaking arsehole.
Carol is being tough and making hard decisions. I'm not encouraging her to kill people but she did what she thought was best. I wouldn't want her to continue doing that though. But we don't really know what might have been now.
Rick gets on my nerves.........alright for him to go all John Wayne on everyone's ass......Go Carol. And I love Daryl, he wasn't in enough scenes lol
I'm really getting sick of Rick. At this stage I wouldn't care if Rick died. I don't like him at all. I haven't liked him for awhile either. He wasn't too bad in the first season or two but I'm sick of his wounded soldier act. I wrote some more in reply to oddjob below about Rick and Carol. Cranky cranky cranky.
Yeah I'm kinda with Rick on this one, I wouldn't want Carol babysitting my kids either.
I'm not. I'm cranky at Rick for kicking her out. She didn't deserve that. She did something that he didn't agree with yes - but for fucks sake. I'm so sick of Rick acting like he knows the right decisions. I wish they could have just agreed that it was wrong and promised not to do it again. Carol was trying to protect everyone including the kids. Including Karl and Judith. I wouldn't let her babysit my kids, but I wouldn't kick her out when there's a freaking zombie apocalypse about and she may be likely to die.
I reckon that Daryl will be pissed. He and Carol had a connection. I hope Daryl pisses off from Rick and his high horse and finds Carol. Not happy in the slightest.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Another thing I don't understand is why none of them call them Zombies. I've heard Walkers and Skin Eaters and all sorts. It would be the first word I would use.
I felt sorry for those young people getting eaten. Carol was so "whatever" when she saw the walkers eating one. You'd have to harden up in that environment though. I totally wouldn't last.
I'm so bad with names, but I feel for the alcoholic though. I don't blame him. It would be so hard to deal with some of the things you see in this show if it were real. Alcoholics always make me sad though.
Anyway.. that's my comments. Until next time.
I just hope we still see Carol.
