Boogs' stab at Tim...over the top ?

Ugh you just reminded me of the slap thing again! Can you f'n imagine if Tim had done that to Boog? I'm not sure if he'd still even be in the house. A few choice people on this forum would definitely be calling sexual assault. Even Maddie commented on the imprint on his ass and how much it looked like it would hurt. Instead she did the wah wah wah what a baby thing when it was obvious to anyone with a brain that if you get slapped that hard to leave a mark when you're just laying there suntanning, it's going to f'n hurt like a bitch.
As [MENTION=33411]Consuela[/MENTION] alluded to in a different - but similar - situation last night, total double standards as far as Tim's concerned and it's just not on. You can only paint someone as the baddie for so long... and that length of time shortens significantly if you're being an asshole yourself.

A++++ this. I think they are gunning for a Drew win so they can hype the Drully reunion in the finale since the producers have a colossal hard on for her and their lame ass relationship.
I've never seen a housemate more deserving the grand prize than Tim. He's the centre and driving force of nearly every episode and storyline in the show. He has basically been forced to do Alex's job, maybe thats why the higher ups have turned on him.

Yup she is a mean little thing and the others are loving it cause they know Tim is a strong contender to win. I truly believe if someone else was getting targeted like he is by Boog and Ed that Tim would provide them some support. And yes the double standards with the butt slap. Nasty mean little thing who I don't believe gives a crap if she takes things too far.

I always wonder why Tim questions his friendship with Drew but after tonight I get why.
If Drew was any friend he would have said something to Ed when Ed started going on being victimised by having flour thrown on him and Jade rather than let Tim take all the blame for the prank .

It had obviously come from something, either Boog had been going at Tim all weekend, or Tim had been going at Boog, but we'll never know without live feed.

Sadly Tim's is just another one of those flogs who can dish it out but can't take it. Boog has proven to be his kryptonite and I'm loving her for it. And just like Superman he has to figure out a way to get past the obstacle that is Boog and get back his groove on if he is truly deserving of being crowned this season's winner.

Great point, and totally agreed.
Not one other housemate has been as integral to the entertainment in the house as Tim. Can you imagine the season without him? It'd be so boring and lackluster, we'd all have tuned out.
The most disappointing aspect about the Boog fight in tonight's episode was how she handled it when he told her she'd crossed the line. Instead of apologising, or even just backing down, she escalated the situation and took it as an opportunity to get more jabs in on Tim. It's pretty indicative of her lack of respect for him as her friend, and it's disappointing.

While I do agree that Tim did have a crack at Jade during the mock wedding I don't think it relates to what Boog did here.
Tims wedding day cheap shot at Jade was infinitely more good natured, the whole house was even at that early stage poking a bit of fun at Jade for her stalker tendencies towards Ed, Jade even joked about it herself as did Ed.....the whole Jade being the proverbial 'bad smell' clingy girl was a bit of a house joke that everyone was in on.
Boogs comment on the other hand was NOT part of a fun in joke that all accepted including Tim (in the same way Jade accepted her awkward clinginess) ...Boogs' comment was WAY more personal and hurtful, especially given that Tim has been driven to the edge by weeks, if not months, of HM obsession that he is somehow the puppet master who should be brought down....I mean as if having to face up to Eds inane and deceitful attacks on a daily basis isn't enough, this loud mouth blow-in drops in and essentially acts like the loud high pitched megaphone Ed always wished he had. I mean she basically blurted out almost exactly what that deluded self righteous idiot Ed would have if he had Boogs' balls and shrill voice.
I suspect he is most hurt because much like Ed, Boog has accused Tim of something they ALL DO and used it like a stick to beat him with....he got singled out for something she could've said the EXACT SAME THING but inserted literally ANYBODIES name...Drew, Tahan, Jade, Ed ...and it would have been no more or less applicable...and yet, she singled out Tim.
I think it infuriates Tim to breaking point that he gets singled out for supposedly 'mean' behaviour when he, like the rest of us knows CLEARLY that they all do the same thing.
By definition, what Ed did was a classic 'cheap shot'....he jumped in on Boogs wave to have a crack at Tim. THAT is a cheap shot. Tim was right about him....great abs, no guts.
I think a big part of Tim taking it all to heart is that no one (looking at you Drew) jumped in on his behalf the way Ed cunningly jumped in on Boogs's behalf. Something which dawned upon Drew later on. If he was my mate I'd be asking him a few questions too....like "where the hell were YOU when that went down?" ...I mean he knew it was a nasty comment by Boog, hence his very audible ooohhh *gasp* when she said it.

There is a lot that isnt shown though as some have mentioned what must have led up to this incident on Friday night. Tahan and Ed even got upset about what Tim had said. So as we have no streaming live feeds we have to rely on BB to give us the edited bias version on who they want to show in a good light this week.
Its not the first time that they have left fights out with Tim involved. A couple of weeks ago. BB put Tahan in the dog house as punishment. Then Tim got into trouble and was placed in there later. All we saw on the Live feed is Tim having a go at BB and leaving the dog house when he chose. But before that he and Tahan had an fight in the backyard and it was heated. None of this made the daily show. I wonder why? Surely it would have been interesting viewing but maybe it painted their favorites in a bad light.

Wel I can't speculate as to what may or may not have happened and who was at fault for that thing that may or may not have happened...all I can do is commentate on the things that I have seen and what I saw on tonights daily show was Boogs showing an ugly side to her nature where she took a 'joke' a little to far and it became a personal attack. BUT....if we are going to speculate on things that we haven't seen or things that may or may not have happened, we know based on the footage we HAVE seen that for a good week now, Tim has expressed his frustration at being singled out by Boog....he has expressed it to Drew and in the diary room, and Drew never denied it....soooo, perhaps what we saw tonight was yet another incident in a long line of attacks by Boog on Tim ? But like I said, I won't speculate on thing I haven't seen.
As far as using Ed being 'upset' by something Tim said to try connect the dots...well, Ed I suspect is upset that Tim still breathes.
I totally agree. I can't think of another housemate I have ever felt "deserved" to win. There's been a few over the years I've really wanted to win, but not one that I thought deserved it as much as I do Tim.
The problem with the house now is that it's gone on too long and they are all tired. Even the great people in there are frazzled. The likes of Boog, who I've enjoyed up until recently (pea peeing aside), are finding it hard to keep hiding their nasty side. Jade and Ed are just entrenching themselves in their delusional world of who they think they are. This last week is going to be very hard on all of them. It's a shame because it is taking away from what has been a great season, imo.

When Tim singled out Tully there was it for something specific to Tully or for something that could have just as easily applied to EVERYONE in the house in the same way ?.....like with Boogs's "I'm Tim and I backstab everybody" comment ?

That was earlier on when he didn't care for people. It was hilarious, but I think he's grown more empathy since then. Either way I don't care, he's been the most entertaining for me and I want him to win or at least be top 3.
