Ed though, does anyone care enough to vote for him?

That's what we've thought twice now. We look at who is up in the Matt eviction and the Ben eviction and it's been 'what's the interest there to save him?' Yet he weasels his way through. If you saw Ben and Ed as a final two, you'd find it laughable and think who the heck is going to choose Ed to win over Ben, yet in some way that is just what happened.

He should have got this far by people in the public having an interest, not getting by from some devious machinations conjured up by his family/friends with their ads in the newspaper and winning a date with him and whatever else they've got going on behind the scenes.

Far out, I don't think I've ever had it in for a housemate before all because of the actions of those on the outside. They are keeping him alive artificially.

I agree with you. I dare say it's happened before (ie family/friends working together to keep certain HMs in), but in Ed's case it's the public nature of it that makes it so vomitous. It screams audacity and arrogance. It's like Nick et al are thumbing their noses at the viewing/voting public, engineering Ed being saved each week...then having the temerity to get on their little blog each week and make out that he's a lot more popular and well-liked than he actually is.

Exactly. Thought that comment was a bit strange. I certainly didn't vote for him because he was well-endowED. I voted for him because I really liked his fun personality and laid back attitude. Jamie certainly was NOT a bore!

The whole "win a date with Ed" didn't proceed apparently - though I'm still waiting on my answer as to why, and whether entrants got their money back. I believe it may have been illegal, though I'm not sure.

I believe they are trying to pull a "Logan Twins" victory.

The only shot we have of preventing it is to vote like mad for your favorite - JUST your favorite, no vote splitting. All their votes are going to Ed, if we split ours it dilutes them amongst the others and won't get Ed out.

Oh wow! That Greg Miller guy has convinced me - it's going to be Ed and Jade the final two with Ed the winner! He sounds serious and organised and if he's telling the truth there is some serious voting power behind Ed and, for the time being, Jade!

I never knew the Logans bought their win and the thought of Ed winning because he has money to buy a win makes me feel like the little girl who just learned Santa is not real

I agree - Greg was really nice (David not so much - that's why he was evicted). Greg was a well deserving winner.
