He half heartedly attempted to squash it early on but since then he has done nothing to sincerely stop it. He has done all kinds of things to lead jade on and give her hope for after the show. He could have easily ended this any number of times without being an asshole. Instead what he is doing makes him ten times the asshole

They are not raising money. People who prove they voted enough for Ed get entered into the date lottery.

I do want to know what Jade will think about this when she gets out and learns Ed cooked this up before coming in the house.

Maybe Jade fans should all vote for Ed and if one of them wins give the date to jade. At least jade would get one real world date with Ed.

Ok - but How many tickets in the lottery? Where are they going? How much is going to be spent on the dinner?Are there second and third prizes?how is it being drawn? Where is it being drawn? and by who? Its pretty clear this is a badly organised stupid scam that is going to end in trouble if any of the suckers want to complain? Its embaressing in my opinion - its making idiots of people

I've read that Ed likes to socialise and believes in love at first sight.... and he's single. *:confused:*

Jade is intelligent and if you notice she is not a fool when it comes to the other HMs, (I know love is blind) but I do believe they both know if they were to dropped the relationship thing they would have nothing, that's why I think they continue it, it benefits both of them.

How many tv shows do we end up watching to see the same story line, they want each other but each episode they don't seem to reach that connection, perhaps the next episode they may declare their love for each other.

I'm over Jade and Ed's kissing scenes, Ed is now scrunching up his face at Jade, not sure what that is code for, I love you, or is it, I think I'm going to sneeze!

I honestly think that Jade does understand what is going on between them and they continue to have this "thang" (as Boog would say) going on to keep the viewers interested in hopes they stay in the game.

I'm not interested, it may be time for Ed to go, he isn't really socialising and love at first sight isn't working with Jade and if he thinks that starting to interact with the other HMs now at day 90 will make good...... IT'S TOOOOOO LATE ED!!!!!

I have no idea, I wonder how many would really want the date with Ed as the show progressed. :p

NIGHT TWENTY FIVE - CHANGES

Wasn't there plenty happening tonight?! A new room was revealed, Saturday night games has moved to Thursday night, the winner has the ability to change nominations, Caleb and Matt kissed and Ed told the world about our made up language!

I did feel for Tully tonight. I'm certainly not a fan of her constant crying and bipolar attitude, but watching Jade have to choose whether or not to delete her partners voice recording would have been a difficult choice. In the end Jade did what all housemates would have done, but I couldn't help but think.. 'I hope my voice message isn't deleted!'

From my point of view, it has been nice to see Ed's relationship with Caleb and Matt develop into a strong friendship over the last week. I thought from the beginning he would hit it off with those two, but early on (maybe due to editing) it didn't seem like he was spending much time with them. It is great to know Ed has some friends to lean on while in the house and I feel as though he and Drew (although editing again plays its role in dispelling my theory) have hit it off since day one.

Now is the time HMs friendships will be tested! Even though the fence is down, the divide is ever increasing. Talking behind each other's backs and double crossing 'friends' has begun to rear its head in the BB house. Hopefully Ed doesn't get caught up in it all but in a 'school' environment like the BB house it would be close to impossible not to!

He's trying to have his cake and eat it to. The point where it's insidious is that it's the way of approaching it where he is leading her on, but will turn around and blame her. Make her feel bad. 'but I said....' so it's her fault. Even though everything else he was doing was leading her on and he knows it.

I think half the problem is Jade has fallen too hard for him and he hasn't got the heart to tell her to back off or break it off completely either due to niceness or being too scared.

I don't think Ed would have lasted so long in the house without the whole "Jaded" saga but at the end of the day I can't understand the hate. HM wise Ed should have gone ages ago but personality wise I think he rates very highly and would be a good guy to hang out with.

That was a dig directed at Jade fangehls who despise someone who their object of their obsession (Jade) absolutely loves, I was not trying to slight real Ed fans. It's the cognitive dissonance of sorts that gets me, I find it disturbingly amusing but disturbing never-the-less. I just wonder what Jade would think of her so-called fans after reading all the derogatory rubbish they write about him.

Totally sucks Melore. He can't rely on his brain to get votes. The brother has to resort to win-a-date shit and newspaper ads to get gels to vote for him. Pathetic.
 
It's a bit arrogant to run a "Win a Date with Ed" comp isn't it? Just assuming people want to date him to persuade them to spend their money to help him win money.

I think in next year's contracts, HMs families should not be allowed to offer inducements for votes or the HM faces instant disqualification.

That is seriously ridiculous. I'd be humiliated if I found out my family had so little faith in me they had to take out fricken ads in newspapers to try to convince people to vote for me! What are those ads even going to accomplish? Anyone who watches BB is already very well aware of how to vote. Does Nick really think someone reading the paper is going to say "oh ok, I don't watch the show but I'll spend my money voting for some dude I don't know"? I can't even be disgusted with them any more as I just find it all so hilarious!

When they said win a double date with Ed did they mean bring someone along to have dinner with Ed and Jade? Maybe he could then capture the male market?
 
Unfortunately I'm doing this on my phone and can't post photos! It's not huge but sticks out like a sore thumb! About 9cmx6cm with the word Ed about 4cm high. Has the phone and sms save numbers and says "Nice guys should finish first. Get behind a South Australian! "

I wonder how many save votes it will generate..some ppl will send some votes because he's south australian and was a professional footy player, even if the dont watch BB. of course every vote counts as we've seen how close the % have been, and how tiny the % was between Ed and Ben..if BB hadn't shown the 1/2hr special of Ed and Jade's date in the Garden of Eden the night before evictions, he probably would have gone.

I just saw it! Craig Delaney just posted it in the comments under the latest posting on the big brother Facebook page, about Jade and Ed. So funny how part of the ad says 'or vote on Facebook' if they're truly hoping for the uninformed to vote then 'vote on Facebook' doesn't give much guidance.

Jeez.. How many cards do these guys have going on, and are preparing to waste?
