Has Jade been treated unfairly by Big brother?

Also if you are going to state that you are able to see the good in a hm your second paragraph proves otherwise IMO. Tahan was not the golden child not long ago. In the popularity tracker she was in the minuses and not by just a few, she has come back on top and all the sudden that makes her a golden hm?

You are stating that tahan fans can be rude are have a pack mentality, but a lot can be said about jade fans as well. But I'm not going to point them out and ridicule a fan base as I see no point to this argument nor do I think it's fair to say that unless I have tried to understand the poster first.

She was always BB's golden child. It wasn't until an amazing edit of poor Tahan that her fan based grew, which just goes to show what a good edit can do.

I am far from saying Jade fans are perfect but I for one respect your choices and opinions. I am happy that not everyone likes the same people, its makes for a good story line.
I respect that Tahan fans like someone I dont, even if I dont understand it. Which is why you dont see me going into the Tahan appreciation thread and bagging her. You dont see me starting threads meant to do nothing but further bash a HM and their fans. You dont see my insisting you explain to me why you like her and how its possible. And you wont ever see me taking part in a gang up of people who may not like the same person as I do.

I can only base things on what I see with my own eyes and my own eyes see a lot of hurtful things being said by a lot of people who dont seem to care who reads it or who it hurts. That is not who I am, just like it is not who Jade is, which is why I see myself as the perfect example of a "Jade fan".

Still fail to see what these situations were.

Someone being fat and someone acting like a fool is very different. Can't compare.

Mixing the letters up is a pretty normal thing for someone who is dyslexic. That again, doesn't make her dumb... Tully had to ask how the spell it when writing on the towels, you dont see people laughing at her.
 
I think Jade is okay..

She hasn't been crying and carrying on about how unfair life is.
She takes pretty much everything in her stride.

Just like her fans and Tahan fans pitting Jade and Tahan against each other - it's not them doing it, they seem just fine this week.

I think we need to remember that what we perceive as unfair isn't necessarily how the housemates see it.

Do I think she should get rid of Ed? Yes.
But I'm not her - she doesn't think so - and quite frankly if they don't have a problem with it then what's really the problem other than our perception of it?

Everyone on this forum goes back and forth about their fave.

The actual reality of it is that it is OUR reaction, not the housemates. Their reaction will count when it comes time to walk out of there and I hope that is a wonderful experience for them.

This is all giving me a headache at this point.
 
Too much political correctness is being emphasised on. So we shouldn't have any intellectual games as to offend a hm who thinks they are not smart, we shouldn't have staples given to hm's as it will cause the issues of a fat person being targeted, Shouldn't let hm's win a task as it is deemed unfair to other hm's, shouldn't create games where activity is required because some hm's are not co ordinated? I mean where will it end really? Everyone has an insecurity that can't be helped, but Jade hasn't comp,aimed about these tasks, has she?

This is big brother and anything goes. Leave the political correctness for a more meaningful show not one for entertainment I say.

I was laughing at Tully - all the time, never stopped.

The Jade butthurt is strong round here. Why can't you just accept that she is completely lacklustre in so many areas; personality, wit, self awareness, the brain department (with or without dyslexia) etc etc. I have a feeling she is also grumpy pants because her power is slipping. Mikk gone, Maddie gone this week leaves just her and Ed to defend against all the 'horrible people' waaah waah waaah

What makes you so sure about the first part?

This wasn't meant to be a Jade bashing thread. I wanted to see examples of Jade bing treated unfairly. You seem to think BB and everyone who is not a Jade fan must have evil intentions. Your bias is unbelievable.

You implied that BB only goes there with Jade because he doesn't think she's actually dumb. A non-fat person can still feel fat and have a genuine eating disorder. Your logic implies that it would be ok for BB to make the most of that mindset on the basis that it is in the Hm's head, and not shared by BB.

That is all very well and good, but these are forums and people do want to discuss hm's, so I don't necessarily think that all forum users who post in different threads are bagging out a hm, but are trying to understand themselves. Just because you may view it as such doesn't make it so. Just because you don't do those things doesn't mean people who do are trying to be disrespectful, it's a discussion thread.

Tahan was not always the favourite and I still maintain she isn't the fave. Tahan has had her fair share IMO.

I agree. Its a reality TV show. So be a reality TV show. By trying to shape stories and giving their take on things they are making it into a soup drama. BB is meant to be about showing as how it is and letting us decide who we do and dont like.

You knew how this thread would turn out and you never even listen to what we have to say so the fact it got here is no surprise. Dont try to act all innocent now, your goal was never to have us enlighten you.

I don't think he goes there at all. I don't think she feels stupid. I forgot to say that. She has also claimed she is insecure when she's displayed very gutsy behaviour. Most things she says I take with a grain of salt. If BB actually did try to embarrass her, obviously I would be against it. But he hasn't. So this debate between you and me is pointless as there is no basis.

Of course you would think that because obviously you have no interest in learning anything new and seeing things from a different perspective. Our brains are very different :)
 
BB favours Tim, Tahan, Boog and Drew. So yes, Jade is portrayed unfairly compared to them. Not near as bad as Mikkayla was portrayed though.

OT heard on he radio this morning about a publican giving the firefighters who saved his pub a free beer to say thanks and is now being charged for disobeying the responsible service of alchohol rule by licensing. FFS. /rant
