Has Jade been treated unfairly by Big brother?

I would add Mikk and Justynn to the list of unfairly treated HMs/intruders.

Mikk's eviction ffs. Not knowing that she can't adopt Mr Clooney... etc etc. though she's meeting with the Animal Welfare League today, who are responsible for Mr Clooney. Methinks she's making a pitch.
 
Just wanna add I don't think any HM has been treated unfairly or had an unfair advantage. If Tahan ever got some extra footage, maybe, just maybe it was because she brought some entertainment value which is what the show is all about. It's a game. If you can't entertain, too bad. You snooze, you lose.

Justynn could have been beautiful. I still dream of him running through the house, chasing Mr Clooney, his "Manly" scent wafting after him in a cloud....
And annoying the housemates, with his bi-weekly shower, large tufts of chest hair clogging the drain....

I really don't think bb hates jade at all. If that were the case then why did it seem that jade was the favoured lady early on in the show? She had a storyline created for her with this drade thing, which gave her a stepping stone above anyone else, she had a pretty good birthday party and was singled out to be shown she speaks Italian. Not that I minded any if these things. I'm just pointing out that I think jade was liked by the production team. They even had the team get involved with the surly business to help jade out (which I appreciated at the time because early on the ed thing was cringeworthy). She had outside interference, no other hm has had this IMO.

The recent things to me have not been so bad, it's the public reaction that has made them bad, but to me that's reactions from how jade has reacted. The GoE setup was just pure entertainment IMO. Eds biggest rivalry is Tim, jades is Tahan. It was purposefully done to create a reaction and I don't think it is some mastermind plan to humiliate jade. I think because of the public reactions of jade some people are looking into things and thinking there is some kind of favouritism, when simply, I think depending on what the hm's provide will be shown and so for the ones who dont seem to provide much bb needs to create setups to get hm's into the limelight. Just my opinion, not trying to insult or put down anyone here.

I already said i don't beleive Jade is being treated unfairly in the house - it's the way she is being portrayed to the public.

If you start a topic, please take the time to actually READ what people write. And when you start a topic asking for peoples opinions don't automatically dismiss those you disagree with.

But more the fact that the producers are obviously going out of their way to humiliate her. People can cry all they like that she's brought it on herself by liking Ed so much, but that doesn't change the fact a lot of it comes from their constant need to mock her.

Forget about all the crap like the date with Ed in the GoE specifically designed to humiliate her or whatever, but you only have to look at the LF update yesterday where Ed had to choose between their stuff and Jade being allowed to sleep in the purple bedroom to know that it's true. It's disgusting. It really is. Why the hell should BB give Ed the choice to pick where she sleeps?

She's a nice girl who's been a great HM for them in terms of storyline. She obviously wears her heart on her sleeve and they're taking advantage of that and making fun of her for entertainment. She doesn't deserve that. She's going to be in enough pain when she leaves and find out what Ed was saying behind her back as it is, it's going to be even harder when she sees that the show was taking advantage of her feelings for laughs.

I have never thought that Jade was being exploited or humiliated by BB or gained any entertainment from her seemingly being overly dependant on Ed.

Finding out that someone you have a bit of crush on is a really a bit of a dick, happens all the time. Most people deal with it fine, and get over it eventually. In fact may even make it easier for Jade to drop him, if he remained Mr Perfect in her mind, then she'd never be rid of him.

I certainly hope you don't mean the cringeworthy Surly date or giving Ed the option to chose where she gets to sleep. Because both of those were obviously designed to humiliate them.

They are two adults, BB has done nothing to mess with their mind therefore everyday was an opportunity to redeem themselves, and they never did. They were both digging their own grave with no help from big brother.

I don't dispute that Big Brother isn't too fond of Jade although there could have been other gifts that we never got to see on the tv show. As an entertainment show they can pick and choose who they like to feature more over others and this is the general rule of television shows. She's still getting time on a television show and generally seems to be enjoying herself. No one is going out of their way to put her down or anything.

Jade fans - sorry your favourite is no longer BB's favourite, she was for ages, she squandered what air time they gave her, and the BB story has moved onward.................

She's just sitting there losing now.
