Drew would never have the guts to say those things about Ed to his face. If he did then he would have nominated him during the face to face nominations.

Er, you do realise they had ALREADY written down the names of WHO they nominated prior to being told they were nominating face to face, don't you?
So it's not like as if he can suddenly rewrite history and change his prewritten nominations.
Or do you propose he goes all Marty McFly?

Drew had those opinions about Ed before the face to face nominations. But instead of nominating Ed, drew was gutless and nominated other housemates.

When drew was nominating, he didn't know it was going to be shown to the HM's. Ed annoys him here and there, so he has quick rant in the DR. And his rants are funny. He doesn't care enough about Ed to confront him about it.

If you knew anything of the game and how it works, you wouldn't be embarrassing yourself so much right now.
The game (yes it is a game) often requires that people nominate not only based on how they feel about a person, but how they suspect others might nominate.....using that knowledge one can then develop an idea of who might be up, this information may then lead to you nominate in a different way than initially anticipated based on like/hate so as to maximise your 5 points to greatest effect.
This game requires cunning and skill...and that sometimes means being creative with how you nominate.
For example...
Tim no doubt wants Ed out and same goes for Ed, make no mistake about that....BUT...I suspect that he figured that Madeline and Boog would be up for sure and to put Ed into that group Ed would probably survive.....so rather than waste some valuable points he lumped a few points Jades way who he probably guessed may find it stressful and survival to be less assured.....after all, he just saw Ed beat the almighty Ben right !! This way, if either Madeline OR Jade go....it's a strategic win for Tim.

Like your boy Ed you appear to have trouble focusing on the issue at hand, Drew DID NOT KNOW that it was face to face nominations until AFTER he nominated. He had already cast his nomination votes.
He had issues with other HMs this week and he exercised his own democratic rights to nominate them, as he saw fit.
Please refer to Drew's previous week's nomination of Ed where he lampooned him like the moron that he is for his tired old conspiracy theories.
Since this is BB, Drew would be fully aware that whatever he does in the house would have the potential to be aired and/or clips shown on live feed, particularly what he says in the Diary Room, THEREFORE when the monumentally stupid and vain Ed leaves the house, he will see everything Drew has said about him either on the Eviction Stage or at home watching the season. I'm sure Drew is aware that this will happen, and was aware that this would happen eventually, and I'm sure he couldn't give a flying fig about it, so I'm not sure how you think he's gutless when he's been forthcoming about how he thinks Ed is a giant tosser.
Ed is too gutless to confront anyone with conviction, honesty, truth and sense. In his "confrontation" with Tim, all he did was stutter, stumble, bumble and talk shit, expressing none of his true feelings and self-confessed animosity because he didn't want to look bad. Honestly, what's "I got friends studying the same as you" got to do with the price of fish!? And post-nominations, he was again too gutless to have it out with Tim & Drew on his own terms so fought Jade's fight for her in order to sling arrows of his own.
The only person he actually "confronted" with any kind of conviction was Tully. About something that was none of his freaking business. And he was not the namby-pamby, stuttering loser that he is when he "confronts" Tim either - he was a wild-eyed, scary jerk who dominated her quite aggressively and told outright lies. Funny how different he was in THAT "confrontation.
What a gentleman he is.
