I honestly think she was just angry. I don't see why she would think that she would get sympathy votes from fighting with Tim when she (probably) knows that he's one of the most popular HMs.

Agreed. If the argument were to gain sympathy or had an element of strategy it would not have been so explosive and emotional. Mikka is an intelligent, strong woman, albeit one with anally-retentive control freak tendencies, and as such if she wanted to milk something for sympathy it would most likely been done while she had some semblance of control via the diary room or through the gossiping to Ed, Jade and Maddie.

Hey I do, heres an example: Person A tells Person B to "get a life" Now, if one needs to get a life, then one must not have a life. But then how how does Person A know if Person B has no life? Oh thats right the are judging Person B based on a statement they made.

I perfectly understand your original post. You want to draw negative attention to Mikkayla.

Exactly. I get the impression that house mates are requested into the diary room to get their opinion on what has happened during the day as well. Rather like the opinion/ commentary cuts that are intercepted into most reality television show. I don't think going to the diary room is always a voluntary decision

Lol I'm pretty sure they do, but they have no idea what's being shown so if they want to put on an act and make sure they're seen....out in the open with other housemates is the way to go

And they also know that diary room chats get shown as well.
My point is if they cry to someone or in the diary room makes no diffrence it still gets shown and they know that they are being watched 24/7 weather they cry in private or not

I understood your point, I've just always backed Tahans way of 'complaining' she goes to the most private place there is in the most public place ever lol

Whereas others will go to a group of housemates to 'complain'

I just see the latter as someone looking for sympathy that's all

If I wanted to get the sympathy of the public, the DR is exactly where I'd go. In the DR, I've full attention of the camera, front and center, not competing with 10 other HMs for screen time. Sure, not every DR session gets aired, but have an emotional outbreak in there and chances are it will be aired. DR sessions are where the HMs can communicate with the public without actually talking to the public. It's like Ben talking to his photos. Oh Big Brother, I'm so alone...I got no one in here...I'm so sick of being nom'ed every week...those girls and their pack mentality keep ganging up on me. Guess who they're really talking to.

I don't know, I've heard housemates are often surprised by footage shown from the diary room because they feel like that's their private time to vent to big brother

I've never been in there so i can't confirm that lol but i can imagine it would feel like that.....that's why the diary room visits (aside from the ones that are deliberatly set up by BB) are my favourite part of the show....you get to see the 'real' housemates

I'm a Mikkayla fan and I fell for her from day 1 because she is so blunt. Whether being funny or bitchy, she's always speaking the truth, no matter how rude it comes off as. Love Mikkayla! And yes, Tim is so in denial. Wish everyone could see this. If he wasn't affected, he would have let Mikkayla make up for the fight but instead he went all childish on her. And if Boog wasn't affected by Mikkayla, she wouldn't be constantly discussing Mikkayla with Tahan.
