Episode Day 68 (Fri 4/10/13): Daily Show (30m)

I find it funny how Mikkayla heard the bathroom conversation and reported back to Jade.
THEN, Jade reporting back to Mikkayla that It might be Drew who reported to Tahan and Mikkayla is like " Omg why did he do that?" Like really bitch?
Totally different, IMO.Mikk and Jade are friends, I'd share anything overheard with a friend.

Drew is a tattling twat. The only reason he ran from one camp to the other was to cause shit. He has no loyalty to Tahan. He has no loyalty to anyone.

He has no character, full stop. He showed that by macking on with a chick in a committed lesbian relationship.

That's my hubby to a T...it's funny how he always knows what time the show is starting each night and already has the TV on and can update me if I am late to the party.. :D

Haha that's my dad as well. Refused to watch it for years but this year is addicted. If he misses a show, he'll ask what happened and who got the highest noms points etc haha

YES YES YES YES YES!!!!

(i'm at most times a 'lurker' - but you made me sign in just so that i could agree with this. you summed up drew perfectly, thank you!)
Oh wow, I'm totally flattered I could coax you out of lurkerdom! You should post more. I promise most people here are gorgeous and lovely and even the ones who don't seem that way at first eventually grow on you. Like a wart I suppose.

Let's stick the boot some more in the Drade fans who bashed me, shall we?

"During a game of Truth or Dare, Tim drops a bombshell.

"If Tully said 'I'm dropping Tahlia, I have feelings for you', what would you have done?" Tim asks Drew.

Tahan tells him to take a big sip of his drink before responding.

"Your face says it all," Jade teases affectionately.

"I would've pursued it..." Drew replies frankly. "She's awesome."

It's the answer that most HMs were expecting, and that many seem to have hoped for.

"If there's a connection, you put everything to the side and you just go for it," Boog encourages. "

Why is it every time I see Boog's name I read the word "Boob"?

When Drew told Tahan what was said theres proof that conversation was cut for tv of what Drew actually relayed to her coz when Tahan went to talk to BB Tahan she mentioned the died in a hole part of the comment which we didn't see Drew say. So for everyone who thinks he deliberately changed the story he didnt. He must have elaborated to her in which he said what Mikkayla remarked and who knows maybe even said he cant remember the exact words we don't know.

Its not that big of a deal if you don't what nasty things repeated then don't say them, if Drew had of said that about Ed 100% Jade would have told him.

If Ed makes it through this eviction and I have to watch him for the next few weeks discuss his delusional cards Im gonna be so pissed, please kick him out this week and deal with Drew later.

Of course everyone knows that Jade and Mikkayla didn't really want Tahan dead and buried, they just wanted to rant and bitch about Tahan at that time. Maybe Jade felt more annoyed with Tahan since she just found out that Tahan nominated Ed, and with Ed being nominated was still upset. Tahan seemed also to just want to take it out on Jade, when Drew told her both girls said stuff.
maybe she sensed that Jade chose to look at her nomination file and saw that she nom'd Ed?
maybe Tahan just didn't expect that sort of comment from Jade so wanted clarification because she knows stuff gets misrepresented ... and she didn't want Jade totally going over to the dark side with Mikkayla and forming an insurmountable voting block each week they both remain in the house ... Tahan knows that so long as the two of them are in the house she'll be on the eviction chopping block everytime ... cos she'll have a guaranteed 2-8 points each time - no other housemate has that disadvantage guaranteed to them - although maybe Drew has drawn their fire too now - DUMB move on his part!)

She would have gone to Jade rather than Mikkayla because she already knows Mikkayla's got it in for her no matter what ... and she at least has a chance of talking things out with Jade whereas Mikkayla just goes into rant mode and raises her voice over the top of whatever anyone else has to say when she's being defensive.

No matter how you feel about Tahan you have to admit at least she does go and talk to the person she has issue with - even if it is just to give a meely-mouthed apology ...

and in the end it does make good viewing for us ... would prefer the drama to the boredom any day

YES YES YES YES YES!!!!

(i'm at most times a 'lurker' - but you made me sign in just so that i could agree with this. you summed up drew perfectly, thank you!)

It makes me laugh how everyone goes on about how funny Tim and Drew are when they get together. Perfect recent example was the spa segment. Yes, it was hilarious, but Drew contributed nothing, sweet F.A! but still all the drew fans comment on how funny they are together.
Tim's reasons for nominating Drew, saying that he just plays a supporting role was perfectly justified - i just wish more people would see it.

And no, I don't dislike Drew, I'm just confused by how none of the Drew fans see this....?

random thoughts

- isn't it a shame we're only just today getting significant footage (ie > 2 mins) of boog and maddy. their fates were sealed days ago. good job making me not care, alex!

- jade's (actual) comment was no worse than when someone says "if s/he was on fire, i wouldn't piss on him/her to put him/her out". and she immediately qualified it saying she didn't really wish any harm, it was just an expression.

- drew misquoted jade, I would say intentionally, though his diary room confessional was suitably deniable - which tells me he's playing the audience and BB too. he knew exactly what he was stirring

- tahan took drew's misquote, paraphrased it, and then started telling everyone it was a direct quote. repeated viewings show her final "quote" was not only completely wrong, but also not in the spirit or intent. tahan really should have known better than to take drew literally, but she's blinded by her hatred of mikka and jade.

- tahan's diary room tears are evidence of a girl in crisis, whose conscience knows better but whose stubborn refusal to take responsibility for her actions prevents her from moving forward. the hole jade saw tahan falling in is one of tahan's own digging. if she doesn't want to change that, that's fine, that's her choice - and then she also has to accept the consequences (ie having no friends)

- and blaming the girls for her nominations is ludicrous - there've been 16 people in that house voting for nominations, and the girls can't control it. she just had to look at her vote total to know that mikka and jade weren't the only ones nominating her this week. but it's easier to play the victim.

- good on jade for owning the comment, apologising and tracking down the backstabber (drew)

- good on mikka for calling tahan on her hipocrisy, for all the nasty things she says.

- shame on tahan for claiming she "always" comes and apologises. really? for all the things you've said behind people's backs? that's just trying to win an argument, because half a second's thought reveals that you are constantly saying nasty things behind people's backs. the only ones you then apologise for, tahan, are the ones where you get caught out - which, to be fair, if that's what you think happened to jade/mikka in this instance, then they are doing exactly what you claim to do (apologising when being caught)

- tim, really? you have a few rocks loose. yes, boog is fun and funny, and only the second new female face you've seen in over 2 months, but seriously, get a grip. though it's a shame the voting is done because watching tim make a fool of himself (again) would be worth keeping boog around for.

- ben once again only appeared in a couple quirky moments - there's no chance of the producers showing ben in any negative light.... though with the discovery that he's a stand-up comedian (as far back as 2007), it's pretty clear he is using his stage persona (which is described as charming and self-deprecating) to win over australia. suckers.

Completely in agreement with you.

Has anyone heard the following sayings:
"I wouldn't piss on you, if you were on fire"
"I wouldn't spit on you, if you were on fire"
" I wouldn't piss on you, if you were on fire, unless I could piss petrol"

It seems if anyone in the BB House makes a comparison as the above quotes or says " if she fell in a hole and died, I DON'T think I would care" ... It is taken soooo literally because heaven forbid, we are all such prim and proper angels, that we have NEVER thought or said anything like that our whole entire lives.

Everyone save Drew for twisting the words around because he is keeping the show interesting.

Hang Jade and Mikkayla, for being such insensitive bitches, even though Jade clearly stated that she didn't mean it.

Lets all feel sorry for poor, misunderstood, straight-forward, honest Tahan because she really, really made an effort to get along with the girls from the beginning and when she has said nasty thing out of sheer frustration towards the other girls, she always came to them and apologised. That's right she apologised to the sugar sisters about the comment about the blonde wig, she apologised to Mikk for mocking her, but she mocked Mikk several times after the apology, but hey 1 apology covers all misdeamours.

If you have missed the clip, go to Jump In, and there is a clip about this saga.

Umm, Jade made the comment then said she didn't mean it, which is exactly what they blame Tahan for doing. And Mikka has done it in the past as well.

When Jade said it wasn't EXACTLY what she said, Tahan gave her a chance to tell her the exact words, but Jade "conveniently" forgot. She didn't "own" that comment at all. In fact, she backtracked, then had the nerve to call Drew out on it.

Mikka is as equally guilty as Tahan when it comes to saying nasty stuff about each other

Yeah, the sisters weren't as nice as they claimed. I remember a scene where Tahan was serving some cake thing to them and Mikka, and Mikka made some dig at her as soon as she left the room. The sisters laughed and then Katie said "We love you Mikka"

what / who DIDN"T they love? Love was an easy word for them to use over and over ... so much so it became devalued coming out of their mouths and made my skin crawl.

Big Brother should have allowed them to be split into 2 separate HM's and made them always be 10m apart so they could not share a bedroom, could not be the whole TweedleDee/TweedleDum act (dont jump on me I'm not calling them DUMB!) thus causing them to form separate relationships without constant support from each other
The twosome should not have been allowed to last as long as it did - it only served to support Mikkayla and I think she's evolved into a nastier individual because of that sense of righteousness via always hearing We Love You Mikka, You're Right, Yesssss etc from the sisters

I know myself if I have a friend who is always agreeing with everything I say no matter what it just enables the negativity I'm feeling and allows it to continue and grow without me actually facing up to the situation and making an effort to fix/improve it ... and I think that is what the Sisters became - enablers. And its been to Mikkaylas detriment in the long run because many people are seeing a nasty bitchy side to her they don't like

This...

So much hysteria over Jade saying one nasty offhand comment. Seriously people. Take your one-eye glasses off before you post. Nice to see her finally show some teeth.

Drew is just a little bitchboy. That little dobber kid who causes so much crap in the playground and stands back laughing. Just want to smack him! (ooooooh quick.... I just said something HORRIBLE about Drew...call in the moral police).

If one more poster says "Oh but Tahan is honest when she says stuff" I will puke. If you dish it out you need to be able to take it too. The chick says mean shit all the time, and if everyone she shat over called her up on it for a conversation that would be all we would fookin see. You support her you need to own that side of her too and understand that fairs fair and not get all huffy and uppity when it gets flipped back on her.

You cannot take tonight's show out of context of many many days of interaction with Tahan and start getting all upset. If you worship Tahan for her so called 'honesty' then you need to wear it when her honest gets served right back at her.

I feel very uninvested in any housemate at this time.

and this!

What Jade and Mik said was not nice but Tahan is looking in the mirror (again) when bitching about their behaviour. She is incongruent, nasty and manipulative.

I used to like Drew but he has turned out to be a total jerk!

Exactly. She did t own it. Tahan has never said anything near as bad as what was said tonight. That was a disgusting comment. People can say edit work by bb but it doesn't change what was said, regardless of how editing was done those comments were made regardless.

I didn't record the show but did someone notice if Jade said something around the end of the show maybe passing comment to Mikkayla or BB? about someone dug their own grave? I thought it was funny considering the subject of tonights show.
Im sure it was Jade but maybe it was someone else?

it will be interesting to see if Jade and Drew both sit down for a chat when the heat dies down, and resolve things, and if Drew will stay away from saying anything much Tahan, as he knows she is trouble LOL

Jade said Drew is digging his own grave with the dibber dobbing thing

He's a sidekick ... without him Tim couldn't do half of the funny stuff - prime example being the Ventriloquist act

no he isn't the instigator nor does he contribute that much except for being a useful prop

forgot what it was Tim called him when he nominated him this week ... but it was spot on ... just tried to watch the Nominations Episode but when I try to fastforward to tim's nomination i get more ads and now its stuck on some Kiss Debate ad which just sends popups all the time and will not reload the show :(

however Drew is a useful shadow to Tim in the shenanigans and it makes for good viewing - remember when Drew was all focussed on Tully ... Tim wanted his Drew back to play with

Yes that what I felt the sugar sisters were like.

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting a Drew/Jade blowup?? At this point i'm convinced it's going to happen.

I think Jade will eventually say something to Drew - I'm hoping we'll see her fire up and really tear him a new one :)

I want to see that side of Jade come out - I want her to realise she has that in her and for her to get past these silly insecurities she has ... I want to see Drew squirm and I want to see how he digs himself out of the hole he's dug himself

But then he may not feel that he has because he knows what he say IN FULL whereas we've only seen edited version

By firing up at Drew and drawing negativity towards him is she going to be doing that deliberately as yet another attempt to save Ed's a$$ from eviction?

and is BB editing designed to have Drew evicted so they can get more ratings out of the Drew/Tully reunion sooner rather than later?
