Episode Day 67 (Thurs 3/10/13): Nominations #9 (90m)

Yes....that's what I thought!

I know the superpower is a double edged sword but why are some of them soooo sooky with who ever had it?

I liked Jades body language, the old "get off me" look....

Sadly she can't seem to pick that up in OTHER people...

Coming into this week, I wanted Ed gone for the obvious reasons. But now I really want Drew to go. Until now, Ed has been the only person to nominate Drew and if Ed goes before him, I fear even with Tim's potential nomination points, he'll never garner enough votes to go back up. The nominees all have strong fanbases so this is a golden, rare opportunity to get Drew evicted. Ed is on borrowed time. If he and his cards don't go this week, in the next two weeks (Nathan is next, he'll be out.

Also, regarding Nathan, I am really disappointed he was not eligible for nomination this week. He well and truly sucks and the best case scenario would be for him to walk so we don't have to go through the trouble of waiting a week, hms wasting points on that lump and his inevitable eviction.

^ This. Well said. Hence why I am not a fan of intruders. Just a waste of an eviction. Nathan is rude and doesn't have any good friends in the house. He is a friendless version of Sharron.

Unfortunately the next couple of evictions after this one are probably going to be Nathan and then the surviving intruder. It doesn't seem to be that exciting. Last year they left 3 at the end if they intend to do so again they will have to do two double evictions so maybe they can do the one after as a double eviction if both Nathan and the surviving intruder are up so that we only waste one week. Could start to get pretty boring from here on down.

I always consider the Intruders entrance less about them and more about the current housemates. I like seeing how the react. Usually by the time intruders enter, the housemates have adjusted to their surroundings and each other. It's interesting to see a shift in the status quo, so I look forward to the intruders entry. I think Madaline and Boog to some degree have managed to change the dynamic. Justynn most of all, but he did so too forcefully. Nathan, however, was a nonentity at first and then decided to become a sanctimonious sook. Justynn managed to get one vote to stay from Tahan and Tim possibly would have kept him yet now that Nathan is out of Justynn shadow, I guarantee everyone would rather see him go. Rightly so. Why bother with the process? If next week is a double eviction, it won't be a complete loss.

Nah... if Ed doesn't go this week he has at least three weeks grace. Week leading up to nom, Nathan and then girl Intruder.

It's 3 weeks for Drew or Ed for better or worse. Just a matter of who people care to save this time.

Drew is far more interesting. As a personality. (And is much cuter and has a sense of humour and a soft side and can string a sentance together).

I don't really get the Drew is a bitch issue - aren't they essentially ALL playing a bit of a game against each other. Sure it differs according to each of them, but isn't Drew strategically telling people certain things in just the same way, Tim, Ed, Tahan etc are...? He's a stirrer, sure. But that's kind of the point?

Nathan and Justynn came in on Tuesday the 24th, didn't they? And yet, BB decided to give him an additional week. So if the do the same for one of the female intruders, I think we can get rid of an original housemate the week after next. Presuming there is no double.

I think the problem with Drew is that he's suffering from two things: 1. Both of his story lines have involved females - one forced one who didn't want him and the other who is now gone - and that's all he's had and 2. That whole Drim thing people were hoping to see again if Tully got booted has been proven to be a bust. He's not the funny guy. He's not even the nice guy. He's the guy who sits back and doesn't contribute for the most part. And when he does it involves running between different groups and totally distorting what was said. It's almost like he has Tully disease: He forgets the public see what was actually said before he twists it to suit his needs.

His only qualities right now are either bitching or listening to someone bitch and then repeating it. Nothing else. And it's been like that for awhile so I think that's why he's copping it now.

As in : isn't Drew actually PLAYING his cards, instead of just crapping on about them in the diary room to BB every day

Nathan's exempt this week as he hadn't been a full HM for 7 days before today's noms. Same as the start of the season where everyone was safe for the first week. One of the girls should be gone tomorrow, thus making the other a full HM. So then a regular HM goes. And then Nathan (with that girl exempt from eviction). Then it'll be time for a girl to go as they'll have been a proper HM fby then.

That's funny. I don't think that Drew would have much of a personality (other than bitch) if not for Tim and Tully. Tim is right. He IS a supporting player.

Hm. I don't see it quite like that. I would also say he sits back much less than Ed and is also significantly funnier and nicer than Ed by a zillion miles. (I also really really don't like Ed)

Exactly. Honestly I think Drew's so bored now that Tully's gone and that's why he's been stirring the pot so much this week. I don't really see why people are having such averse reactions to it though - at this point half the housemates are playing to win and doing their best to manipulate people/make others look bad/play people against each other. And I find all of it THOROUGHLY entertaining.

You don't see it that way how? What has Drew been doing in the house since Tully left? This is what so many people were hoping for... the return of some magical Drew without Tully and that he'd form a comedy duo with Tim. Ummm busto. What has Drew done? In a positive sense I mean.

OMG! Have any of you tried reading this thread after the fact? I cannot stop laughing at how random it feels.

Between, where's the filing cabinet WHERE IS THE FILING CABINET! And shut up Ed you ASSFACE! I am legit dying.

It's nearly 2am, and I'm on a night shift. After reading the entire thread, I have no fucking idea what went on except that Mr Cloony sat on Bens face?

Compared to Tim, sure, he is a supporting player to Tim (and Tully) Compared to Ed though (which was the comparison being made) I would argue NO! Ed does much less. He is too scared to engage in the romance fauxmance and his bitching and card playing have insignificant interest really (aside from torturing Jade, but I think that is a byproduct of her insecurities and his passivity and not from his game playing ability)

Well that's my two cents worth on Ed vs Drew anyway!
