When Mikkayla gave her that infamous 'go for it' advice I thought she was just naive as well but like a minute later she's all, "I totally just encouraged her" in this secretive whispery tone. Then there was that bracelet situation...I can't even. I have no idea why people still support Mikkayla.
 
I don't think Jade is a fool...I have heard enough insightful, compassionate and perceptive comments from her to know she is street smart if not book smart. Maybe she knew how to save Ed but chose not to?!?!?! She was smart enough to pick Ben's noms just for a look given the obvious would have been Tim, Tahan and Drews!

And she's very likable I think.....then there's the Ed thing.......

Insecurites and how we handle them.......some people bitch, some eat, some make jokes, some work out obsessively, some put others down and others need someone (relationship) to validate that they are....good enough...and Jade happens to be one of those that if they are knocked back they try harder!! Ed hasn't surrendered to her charms merely accepted that it's probably easier to go with it and look like a douche occassionly then appear to break her heart on national television!

Either way hope Ed goes and Jade decides to stand on her own for the rest of her time....like some one said she will learn alot about herself when she leaves and watches back......

Although its massively embarrassing, there's nothing criminal about being overly keen on someone.

I agree with this. They were hooking up, she didn't even interact with him during the day until recently. Yes it's annoying she is infatuated with him because he is a dick, but I wouldn't call her behaviour criminal.

He also said that at the minimum they will be friends for a long, long, long time. Then she made some flip remark about not wanting to go to his wedding. He would not even commit to anything beyond friendship outside the house.

Yet he hasn't been able to summon the courage to sit down with her as a friend and as a caring person and be absolutely clear with her about it, no, instead he has chosen the gutless wimps way out by letting her keep thinking that there MAY BE A CHANCE of an outside relationship even though he knows there NEVER WILL BE. And it's not as if she hasn't sought clarification, hell no, she has asked on a number of occasions, and on each occasion, you guessed it, he wusses out. LOL....and he wants us to believe he has the guts to TAKE ON TIM. Pffft!! ....sorry ED, but Tim is more of a MAN than you ever will be.

Jade's a good girl and despite what people say is intelligent too. Once she gets out and has the time to kick back on the sofa and watch ALL the footage she's going to learn some HUGE life lessons.
 
I wonder though if she is being dumb on purpose.. just for the stereotype
 
A lot of the blame for Jade's preoccupation with Ed lies with her 'besties' the Sugar Sisters and Mikkayla. If one of those spineless jellyfish had had the guts to pull her aside and gently point out to her that he had tried repeatedly to deflect her advances, and clearly wasn't interested in her, then perhaps she would have been able to move on. Instead they all made excuses to her for his behaviour and encouraged her infatuation to the point where it has become an obsession. Now the poor girl is envisioning picket fences and lots of kids.
I do believe that most of Mikkayla's manipulation of the situation was malicious. She knew that it would turn people off Jade in droves. Thanks to them she is headed for a big fall.

I think that's exactly why the sisters got evicted. There was just no substance...if they ever seemed to think critically it was just about Tahan being a 'mean girl.' They do have their good traits, but there's a lot missing from them I think. And Nathan had a lot of nerve giving that 'what's wrong with you Australia' speech after only knowing them and the other HMs for such a short time.

And Mikkayla..well, it's just really really hard to believe she has Jade's best interest at heart.

I loved Jade from the start, but the Ed stuff made me stop liking her ... but then I found her impossible to not like so yeah I know she is a fool with Ed, but she's just too likable.

I'm so excited because Ed is going home! If not him then Drew which is just fine with me. Drew deflated into a pile of ick. I was hoping he could get back to how he was before Tully, but it's not happening.

Jade is going to be so much better without Ed there. Jade to the end!
 
Well she is definitely not dumb, You can see that when she nominates. Did she not also gave people 4 points? I like that she nominates for strategy and her nominating Ben was a very good idea.

Only thing is she is loyal and that was why she was shocked to find out Tahan had nominated Ed and Tim did Drew. There have been a few more moments when I thought she is quite smart. Like Drew's downfall was tully, he went from hero to zero, Jade's is Ed.

She adores him and thinks he is so much better than she is, and it did not help that all the girls agreed. It felt to me like the worship d club.

I do not get that. If someone is so boring like he is, the handsomeness disappears.. happened with Drew for me. I thought he was gorgeous at first. Now not so much.

p.s Maybe Ed thinks the Jade fans will be voting for him as well. ha If the Jade fans are smart and most are, they want him out.:D
