What was the point of Tully's interview?

Ratings, yes. Also, I think they wanted to give Drew a resurrection white-wash, as he's been sullied by his involvement in the cheating on Tahlia.

It wasn't 'good of her' she loves the spotlight.

No I didn't need her to cry. I have NEVER wanted her to cry. But she could have even pretended like she gave a fuck about the person she had been in a relationship with for 2 years who she supposedly loved more than ever because she always loves people more than they love her (her words!). She could have shown some humility about her actions or remorse or consideration for her ex or said one thing about how she was upset that someone else was hurt by her actions or basically have done anything to make it known she has some small smidgeon of her character that cares about anyone other than herself. ........ Something like that would have been ok

Does this ring a bell?

Sonia: Are you ashamed at all for cheating on your girlfriend on national television?

Tully: Obviously I'm ashamed, like it was never my intention. I never thought in a million years that would happen, and the fact that I've hurt somebody that I care very much about, is horrendous and I feel horribly about it. There's nobody that can make me feel worse than I already feel to be honest.

Actually she was remorseful - she said that she feels very bad about what shes done and no one can make her feel worse about it than how she already feels, but imo she has no obligation to be remorseful in public. It's none of our business what her relationship is like with Tahlia now. I'm happy for her to share but she doesn't owe it to any of us.

I agree somewhat. Remorse - yes. Caring about others - no. She is very selfish - she had someone who loved her, a job where she was happy and successful and a home she loved. That wasn't enough. Most people spend their entire life searching for even one of those.

Diverting everyone's attention off Justynn? ~conspiracy theory~

BUT in all honesty, no point what so ever

Complete waste of time imo. I would have rather an extended ad break.

I suspect it was an Ad for whatever crapola reality show 9 makes up next year that Tully will clearly appear in. "An ex-Lesbian wants a Husband" "The Bachelorette - I'm totally bi, but only guys apply" "Cheaters""A Current Affair - female accused of being a lesbian bullied when she forms a relationship with a male"

I know that she wasn't entirely happy with her relationship before going in the house. She has said in interviews that she and Tahlia were having problems already. Also she mentioned on a couple of occasions in the house that she could see herself married to a man in the future and that she needs to find someone to marry in the next 4 yrs because she wants to be married by 30. And I don't know what happened with her job but I assume she quit before going in the house, so I don't see how that's relevant.

I am pretty sure she is intending to go back to her job. If she wanted to be with a guy, why not break it off prior to the house and not cause public humiliation for her "gf"? It is hard to understand unless you have been there - and I have been there on a much lesser scale. I just think maybe she could think about someone other than herself

All said with a smirk. And much as I never want to see another Tully tear how ironic that such a devastating moment didn't cause one but the merest of things did in the show. IMO she is a FAKE

I fully acknowledge that what she did was selfish and wrong and disrespectful, but I don't think she had any intention to cheat, and it isn't the public's responsibility to reprimand her for her mistakes. She and Tahlia have broken up and I believe they're on speaking terms, so they'll sort out whatever they need to sort out and everything will be fine.

You very funny ... And probably quite spot on.

To be honest I'm still scarred by the Bert and Pattie show. And I never thought anything would scar me more than Tully!!! As Mr. Gump said life really is like a box of chocolates

So you agree there was no reason for her to appear tonight and the thread title is relevant?

It was probably because her initial interview was underwhelming and she has now had time to digest everything that's happened. I think it's almost so the viewers don't feel 'cheated' themselves with Sonia not asking the hard-hitting question immediatedly after her eviction.

For me the interview was pointless (other than how it made me happy because I got to see her) because I've heard it all before in other interviews she's done, but maybe it's good for other people who haven't seen any of her interviews since the one straight after she was evicted, because everyone kept complaining about how "dishonest" she was.

There was a kind of smile turned grimace when she said it was over, what can you do kind of thing. It's a fairly natural reaction in that situation. I figure she might have been on the receiving end of some choice words, fully deserved. But when you say it's over and you have had a week to process that, all you can really do is indicate you are moving on. The words were more important.

As for not having tears outside but having them inside, how many times are we told how everything is magnified in there? It's a weird world and those of us who haven't experienced it just have to shrug and accept their word for it.

A lot of people were surprised that a social media strategist and life long big brother fan could not realise how you looked to the outside world. What she is doing now is obviously her, what she was doing in there was an artificially altered version of her.

So then it just proves her first interview was dishonest? The one where she essentially wrote Drew off as a mate

As she said tonight, that's how she felt then. Can you really not understand how overwhelming it must be to emerge from that house after months and go straight onto a stage to answer personal questions in front of the entire country? I don't know if she was lying or not about her feelings for Drew (in the first interview) but if she was, I don't blame her. She had no idea what kind of reaction she would be receiving from Tahlia and she didn't know what Drew would say when he's evicted.

So little miss 'wears her heart on her sleeve' and 'thinks and acts on her emotions not her head' essentially acted 100% strategically and 'head thinking' in her exit interview. Okey dokey then

In case there is any uncertainly I'm not buying into her bs
