surely people can see see how completely different Ben is when he does stuff like that to how he was about 3 minutes ago talking to Sonia.

I'm not at all convinced that he's not being himself. He's a great voice actor and obviously finds it easy to slip in and out of character, but drama training (which I get the impression he's had from his comic timing & voice skills) does that to ya. It also doesn't mean that he's not 'being himself' the other 99% of time, and when he talks to Sonia etc When I'm doing stand-up comedy I speak/act quite differently to when I'm not "on", and I can do a great bogan or nanna voice...but that doesn't mean that I'm not 'being me' the rest of the time.
