does anyone else get a gay vibe

I know he likes to be different and not be under a label but I was always under the impression that he was pansexual!

Tim doesn't come across gay to me - he seems a little socially awkward where women are concerned & just isn't the hunky, built type of man. I think he's just different & likes it that way.

Give me 'different' any day. For the most part, what these men lack in muscles they make up for with personality.

I didn't realise Tim was the only brother among several sisters. That could explain a lot. I can picture him joining in with their girly games. I love his attitude to life and although people get annoyed with him I can't recall him being mean to anyone. I reckon growing up among all those women has given him a different perspective to most men and that's why they can't work him out. Only a thought :)

I know a guy who grew up with his mum and five sisters. He was very effeminate but he wasn't gay... Although we all thought he was.

Tim didn't say that who people are attracted to is a choice, he said putting a label on it is a choice, and when you choose to use the label gay OR straight, you are choosing to pigeon hole yourself into only being attracted to people of one sex, when he believes that sexuality is a fluid thing and anybody has the potential to be attracted to people of either sex. Quite a different point of view to saying being gay is a choice.

That being said, going from that, the closest Tim identifies as is pan sexual, but I think he is more likely to be averse to putting labels on anyone's sexuality.

Can i just say I love your avatar. Queen Cersei rocks!

I haven't personally gotten that vibe from him at all. He seems highly attracted to females but was just making a valid and important point at the dinner. I hate labelling but if I had to I would call me straight. I would kiss a girl just because it wouldn't mean anything and I think that's the same with Tim. Instead of making a big fuss over kissing someone from the same sex (COUGHS ED IN THE TRUTH OR DARE GAME).

I haven't given Tim a lot of credit but after reflecting on this I actually really enjoy him. Not only is he funny and smart, he is also very empathetic, it's a rare trait.

I'm probably missing something but I really don't get why people are against 'labelling' people's sexual orientation. So Ben is not gay..that's just a label? Who you are attracted to is a big part of who you are imo. I don't see how it can just be a silly 'label.'

Yeah at first I thought he was gay.
I don't think he is at all now that I've got to see him properly on tv and off (other vids), I think he's just got a lot of feminine characteristics. If you see his videos (done outside the house) you can tell he's definitely not gay.

See in both of those, he doesn't fit into that view of GAY and BI GUYS people have.
I think he's doing a lot of things in the house that he wouldn't do, the way he talks is really fake sometimes (in the diary room talking about jade to big brother).

I still love the guy, but I doubt girls like tahan and jade would usually go for him on the outside, I'm pretty sure he'd be into the 'free spirit' 'wild child' type of girls (Heidi/tacey from 2012)

I'm not against labelling I just didnt want to offend anyone. A lot of people are against labelling now because its their belief that you're attracted to a person, not a certain sex. I hope I explained that right

But the vast majority of people are attracted to a certain sex. It's silly to deny that. Maybe someone can explain..

I feel that it's not the case anymore. I don't know where you live but here in Western Sydney if you kiss someone of the same/opposite sex it's often questioned as: did you kiss ___ , because most of these people aren't 'bi' or 'gay' they just like to kiss who they like to kiss. And personally I feel it's better to be like this because a lot of people who are attracted to someone of the same sex are not just gay or bisexual but they have feelings towards a person. It's not all black and white nowadays.

I can understand someone like Ben saying "I'm gay, I only like males'. But to answer the question of the thread, I don't think Tim is bisexual or gay. I think he might just be willing to be experimental to someone he was attracted to. I feel as if labelling is acceptable, I just feel like nowadays it's much bigger than being jus straight or just gay, and I think that's what Tim meant.

I just don't think anyone can be indifferent to their partner's sexual orientation. Just imagine (you're a girl) and your boyfriend tells you, "by the way I'm bisexual." I think that's pretty big news to hear and few people would feel like they didn't even need to hear that as it's just a label.
