I'm sure that comment was made knowing full well that everyone knows Ed is anything but. What I thought was funny was Ed' expression - he actually looked a little taken aback with the compliment almost like he knows he isn't.
 
Okay, maybe it's because I'm just in a really bad mood right now hearing Tully will be back and knowing there will be 4 freaking intruders that I want gone ...... But I am so tired of Ed. And his brother. Why do they think they are too good for Jade? They're REALLY not. Ed and his brother are just dumb. Reading his brother's blog ...that guy is delusional. He doesn't know what's going on in the show at all. He has no idea what moves will be good or bad. Or the motives behind what people do. I really want Ed GONE. Man, I'm in such a bad mood. Freaking Tully and 4 intruders. This is so annoying.

What do these people have against Jade? If Ed went for another girl the backlash would be massive. But I'm hoping he's gone ASAP. I kinda want Jade to win the whole thing just to stick it to Ed's family.

I think that's more to drum up some votes for Ed this week. As in 'keep Ed in for a possible love triangle' kind of thing. I can see why his family wouldn't like Jade, she has been hanging off him non-stop and making him take the blame for them not being a 'couple'. If the roles were reversed everyone would be calling for his head for being a big creep, but because its Jade she gets the 'poor Jade, can't Ed see how wonderful she is?' thing. Sometimes people just don't have real chemistry, and you can't force that not matter have nice both party is.

Hey hun, I'm not sure what you're getting yourself all twisted up about but the way forums work is you respond to what is most relevant atm. when you go into a thread that was started weeks ago and quote or respond to something said weeks ago when it first started you just look like a Dick....
So when someone comes in and continues a discussion from today or yesterday or even over the last week THAT is perfectly acceptable :)

Eds reaction would be epic, he just has this casual i know I'm going to win attitude about him.....he'd be stunned at first and just sit there waiting for sonia to say sorry we stuffed up and then when reality hits he might even cry

I think I'd pay good money to watch Ed bawl like a baby, at least it'd be a reaction. He's like a plank of wood.

Yeah, I don't think they have chemistry and the family is trying to drum up support. But I don't think they understand much. They think Caleb, Matt, and Heidi were popular and only got voted off because people assumed they'd be safe. What? And they don't realize that Jade being in the house is HELPING Ed stay there by giving him a story and she's on his side. She's not an enemy of him in the house. They want her gone so Ed can be by himself. How would that help him at all? Why do they think he and the vote outs were popular? It's delusional.

I would love for Ed to be interested in the intruders. Hopefully it will then mean Ed getting out of jades bed, and the end of her fixation on him.

She is also getting negative response from this 'relationship' too. Why is his family putting all the blame on Jade? So, they don't approve of her, they don't need to publicly humiliate the girl. I don't hear Jade's family calling him a scumbag for what he is doing to her and hoping that Ed would leave this week and so on and so on. They have every right to support Ed, but they don't have to bring down Jade or Tim who are just playing the game the same as Ed. They make it sound that Ed is so precious and perfect and everyone else should just bow down to him and get out of his way and that he should win BB even though he is so effing BORING and really have not contributed much to the show. His family just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Yuck!

Agreed. His family's behaviour make me question everything about Ed..wouldn't trust him one bit.

Ok, so its ok for Tim to call Jade dumb or Ed boring because its 'part of the game?' or Tim to use Jade's real feelings to somehow make Ed look bad? But if Ed or his family express an opinion its 'sick' or 'you can't trust Ed'. For fuck sake, I'm sure Jade's family is saying shit about Ed and Tim just as much as Ed's Family is, it just that his family have a public blog. They have every right to say stuff about Jade just as you come on this site to say stuff about Ed. I think its so sad that people are just jumping on the Ed Family Hate Band Wagon when they are doing the same thing.

This show is so heavily edited that most of the time we are only getting to know housemates through what other housemates are saying (mainly Tim, Mikkayla and Ben), hell even Tully was a different kettle of fish when she left to what we saw/heard. I think everyone is just trying to make Ed the villain because Tim wants them to. He is the only jock standing, and Tim wants the 'cool' group gone. I think Tim's treat of Jade is far worse then what has happened between Ed and Jade.

Is saying it publicly and saying it privately the same thing? :/ Sure they have every right to say it, but it sure makes them look like jackasses criticising Jade in this vulnerable situation...and when she's only ever said positive things about Ed.

Might make them look like jackasses, but its no more then what is being said on every social media platform there is. My point is just because they said it doesn't mean its what Ed thinks. So I think its a bit much for people to say you should judge Ed on what his family does. They can't talk to him and find out the real deal, just like I'm sure Jade's family would like to tell her to leave Ed alone and strike out on her own. Ed has never said cruel or mean things about Jade, he has misspoke a few times which people have jumped on but he has never called her dumb or sad or something like that. I think his family would be on the attack purely because of the hateful things said about their brother and most of that stems from the Jade situation. No, they shouldn't criticise her because they don't know the full story but they have every right to make people see Ed as they know him. Not what Tim has said or people how see things from small amounts of footage.

He's on big brother..he had a 99% chance of being criticised. His family are silly for thinking they have to be on the defence all the time. I'm sure what people say on forums/twitter won't bother jade a great deal...but what Ed's family says so publicly has to sting.
