Tullys back??!!

Tully's going back to rewrite the history of her relationship with Drew (i.e. gaslight the fuck out of him) as "just friends" and re-leave the house this time with her dignity intact. The 'task' is just a gimmick ploy to get Tully back into the house one way or another. Now with the foreknowledge of public opinion, she's going to salvage what's left of her dignity with pure and utter spin.

It's a win-win for BB, BB gets the ratings, and Tully gets to clean up the mess she made on national TV, with the public eating it all up none the wiser.

Yeah and then she will get back together with her ex-girlfriend that doesn't want her. I'm thinking... not.

I thought the ratings period was non existent during the school holidays- which is now. Can't see they can use that argument- and even if numbers were down - it's a dodgy as hell and a can of worms situation.

It's supposedly the people's choice as to who leaves the House. It was blatantly obvious that Tully was the public's evictee of choice- regardless of the way they had to vote to get it.

If she goes back in as a housemate again- I will happily stop watching. This BB is so far removed from the concept of Big Brother it may as well be a scripted weekly show- with everyone going home for the weekend.

No contact with the outside world? GONE
No information from the outside world? GONE
No discussions about voting intentions? GONE
Challenges involving 24 hour tasks for a number of days? GONE
24 Hour live feeds accessible on the net? GONE

Now we have carefully edited story lines with product placement.
A legitimately evicted housemate returning may just be the straw that broke the camel's back for many of us.

It is sad. A once interesting show turned into entertainment for children. Hence my suggestion to broadcast it on ABC2 in a half-hour timeslot, Monday to Friday.

Before coming back here I had a weird fleeting thought about Tully coming back.

What in the wide world of sports is going on here?

Maybe she had been offered a C9 job before BB, a contract both parties can't release or she's already shot the pilot and PR has gone into overdrive. Someone said a source claimed it was ratings. The magical 1M.

It's nothing about for her girlfriend at all, it's for herself and her own reputation. Trust me, once she comes back into the house she'll be playing it differently when it comes to with drew now she knows the public opinion of her. And that's just natural instincts and human nature, she wants to protect herself and the way she is perceived by other people. The thing that disturbs me though is that I think she'll be doing that by rewriting the whole history retrospectively with drew as "just friends", when we all know she was cheating in the first place.

A gaslighter's dream.

Wouldn't it be illegal or something for her to go back in the house (as a housemate) after people had spent their money voting? It would ruin the whole premise of Big Brother if the producers can just put back in anyone they want. Not going to happen in my opinion

They would never bring an HM back. It the usual big nothing from BB and she will part of an ignore task for a few mins.

Ray went back in last year after being evicted. The other housemates had to ignore him though whilst he did stuff trying to mess their focus.

if perhaps she goes in as a housemate, well I wont be on here that night cause the damn forum will crash their will be so many trying to complain.
really I dont think BB is that silly UNLESS they have no intention of having it again next year, cause very few of us would watch.

Stumbling into this thread I can really feel the love...

I might just hang out here for a while.

If Tully goes back in ... It will finally teach all of you Tully haters that no matter how hard you try, hate is never the answer.

wait for it...

Live and let live. Tully is good, Tim is bad, Mathew and Ed are bad. Tully is good!! Anyone who is against Tully is DOOMED!!

oh the irony. and you were doing so well!

The fact that it hasnt been boring has nothing to do with the housemates. Only Justynn has provided any entertainment.

I didn't realise justynn wasn't a housemate

I have a girl crush on Mrs riddim! And actually CaspersDad said the same thing. Not that he is an avid watcher but he called it.

actually, mrs riddim gets that a lot. she bakes, she's got a 160 IQ and she's a mediterranean princess. that's why I don't let her leave the house - she'll realise how much better she can do!

this is the best explanation I've heard so far for a return to the house, if it were to happen. but, thankfully, it definitely sounds like it won't.

that said, i'll probably still fast forward whatever gimmick they have planned and work out what it was from the rest of the show, or read it here later ;)

i would love to see her back in now she is single, she would be focused on the game now rather than the 'affair'

my favourite, whether they were good or bad, have always been in the finale, and up until last year they have taken it out. this year has been very surprising to see who the public are voting for.

another note, how can any one possibly like the mundane personality and the monotonous tone of Jade?

What's happened to the random thought posts in the daily show thread ??? or am I just missing where they are... I like reading them :)

thanks, mate. i've been a bit time poor the past couple weeks. the few i've done have felt a bit "mailed in" and grumpy, but hopefully i'll be a bit more regular in the coming weeks ;)
