Ben and the extra's

I am a BB addict
I watch bb uk,usa and australia for many years

I believe that bb see all hm's as extra's for this years ben show eeee sorry big brother
Never before i saw a show zo bias towards an housemate as this years bb
I find it hard to swallow that the show is so clearly steered towards ben to win

His special tasks,his birthday presents,the laughings sounds of the public even when he only visible doing nothing
The comments of the presenter(sonya i think)
The most airtime and i could go on

I would be so angry if i were a hm
In the live feed sunday there was even a moment they mentioned his special treatment by bb
But they changed camera directly

What do you guys think?

It doesn' matter if you are a fan of ben,but should it not be fair to all hm's?

If other housemates had a local celebrity who they really, really admired as much as Ben does then I'm sure BB would have done the same for them for their bday.
 
Yeah, why should Ben get special treatment......BB treats him like a baby, he's a grown man ffs

Yeah, everybody else's is probably someone from the US or UK or some other channel. Bert wasn't relatively hard as he's gone into celeb bb before and he's signed with the same network as bb.

Also I think it's more The Tim Show than the Ben show, which I really don't mind as wow what a poor show it would be without Tim.

It became very apparent with the 'Bert Newton Show With Ben In It' I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry.. I still don't. How pathetic. The show, I mean.
Those 'laughing sounds' I have noticed, how could I not? Accordingly we get adoring tweets and accordingly we form our opinion and accordingly we will vote!! :mad:
All along I thought that the Messiah Tim had been chosen by the producers to wear the crown.. but my bad. Obviously it's better to have two irons in the fire than one.
 
weeks 2-4 were the tim show
weeks 4-6 were the drully show
weeks 6-8 are looking like the ben show

it was best when it was the tim show

For a BB addict you're not a very good observer. You dislike the guy so much you're more aware when it comes to BB showing him.

I swear I've seen a lot of Drew-Tully, Jade-Ed and Mikkayla footage these days. But I don't know why these anti Ben-ners seem to point out that he is the one shown the most. :confused:

This thread is unoriginal. How many of those anti-Ben posts do we need? People hate him because, oh he's shown a lot, or the fact that he's an actor. Such weird reasons to hate on someone as genuinely nice as him.

For a BB Addict who has said they have watched the show for years, I think you should by now know the name of the host. It's Sonia not Sonya.
BB does tell the audience at the live shows to react to what they see in the daily show segments but it's the audiences fault for laughing at Ben when he does nothing but change his facial expression not BB fault.
I am one of the few people on her who actually like Ben (first time I've made that statement on here). I think beside the Ben show last night I think he get almost the same air time as everyone else (Beside the one sugar sister who does not talk).

in fairness, i don't think it's so much hate ben as have no respect for or interest in a person who presents themselves as a naive, parasitic man-baby who channels his inner nana to get well-meaning people to do things for him whilst having no intention of doing things for himself or even attempting to improve his station in an appreciable way.

Yes, we've seen a lot of Drully because it was a plot line & topic of discussion in the house. Yes we've seen a fair bit of Tim because he seems to be the only one who doesn't spend the majority of his time suntanning or lifting weights. But, we've seen a LOT of Ben primarily for only things that were contrived for him because on his own he doesn't do much except sit around in pjs all day and say amusing things once-in-a-while. He may be "nice", but so are the Sugar Sisters & no-one wants them to win. I find his talking to his photos disingenuous & most of his behaviour & talk silly & annoying. He's tolerable, but I don't get why so many people are so enamored of him - perhaps they are getting sucked in to BB production's propaganda. But to each his own.

The reason this topic is relevant & people are complaining is because of the boring birthday crap that took up most of the show yesterday - to reduce the topic to "People hate him because, oh he's shown a lot, or the fact that he's an actor. Such weird reasons to hate on someone as genuinely nice as him" shows a clear unwillingness to make any effort to understand why some people may consider the situation as compromising the fairness of the competition. It's an on-going, continual issue which is why it keeps coming up.

Exactly. I don't mind him as a human being, or him being a housemate. I object strongly to the vignettes thought up by the BB production that feature Ben or pander to him. We don't need billboard signposting to get the picture. I object to having him rammed down my throat in this way - it isn't about amount of screen time, or about 'hate'.

They did this with Bradley last year and people got worn down by it, eventually. Ben is contributing a lot of his own schtick to the scripted stuff thought up to feature him - Big Brother's Personal Assistant was the start of it, and on it rolls. It's an offensive level of favouritism, banking on the station's Big Bang audience, I guess. People are so blindly led.

hate for someone on a reality show is so far over the top
i just do not like the special treatment he is given

the guy i do not like is Ed,that is a really fun boiler brrrrrrrrrr

I didn't watch all of last years season because I got bored of it. Was Bradley as well liked as Ben? Because Ben has a HUGE following. I'm hopeful that he will leave before the end of the season so that Tim can take the crown, however I'm not sure if that'll happen because of his fans. I don't understand why he has so many fans as there's nothing remotely charming, funny or entertaining about him. He's just a sad sack of ineptness.

Yes, I agree. Wonder, if it comes down to the two of them, how many of the fans who originally went for others would go for Ben & how many for Tim? That might be the deciding factor (I'm guessing a lot for Ben because people seem to think Tim is some mastermind plotting the downfall of all their favourites but I could be wrong).
