Is it just me or has Tahan all of a sudden started with the emotional reactions and tears. I know obviously the environment in the BB House would be unlike anything you had experienced before and emotions would be heightened, but I am questioning the genuiness of her tears or atleast the severity of them. I just keep thinking of Stella from last year and the way the segregration from the others and her comments and reactions in the diary room actually played out really well for her as she lasted so many more weeks than what anyone initially thought.

I think this is the next phase of Tahans game plan, and she has admitted she is 'playing the game'. She has now decided to use the situation that has developed between her and the other girls to her advantage and is going into BB and pulling out 'the other girls don't want me here, I'm all alone, I'm so sad'. Even BB started talking to her tonight about 'underdogs' and how much people generally get behind them. Only the day before she was in there saying how she couldn't care less about them and what they thought of her etc, and I feel like overnight this lightbulb has gone off inside her head as well as the words she used when Jade picked it was Mikkayla she was imitating eating - 'ding, ding, ding'.

I can't help it but when she is in the diary room crying what I imagine is going through her head is "Tahan think about your hairdryer, think about your dog that died, think about getting cellulite, think about Katy and Lucy winning the $250k"

If it is a game plan then good luck to her. I don't want her to win but I also can't help but like her. Yes she can be very mean, yes she doesn't think before she speaks some times, but also yes she is funny, yes she tries to liven things up a bit, yes she can be a goofball and yes she for the most part tells people what she is thinking rather than just what they want to hear - which yes I know is an ironic thing to write when the main context of this post is about her being non-genuine lol. I also think one thing she has been labelled by some in the house that I think she definitely is not, is dumb.

Seriously? She was very emotional in tonight's episode and I believe her tears were real. You can see the build up of frustration and it was written all over her face during the games especially. To get that close and then to lose would be heartbreaking especially when she needed the break from being nominated. She admits to playing the game but she admits to also being honest and upfront. She has stated she would do this all on her own and she is ok with it, she just didn't expect to being disliked. There is so much build up and for a girl who is very lively and will do what she wants, she is stuck in an environment where she can't escape, of course she is going to cry- nominated again, come so close to not win and potentially save herself, girls don't like her (she put that on herself I guess), doesnt have anyone she is really close to in the house... She is human therefore she will cry!

There are quite a few aspects of Tahan's personality I don't much like but I do think her breakdowns lately are genuine. It seems like she went into the house with a plan, extremely confident and determined to prove that she's some tough chick. And at first it worked because she had the likes of Heidi, Jasmin, Tully and the Meatheads patting her on the back and laughing when she'd bitch about the other girls. Now they're all gone except for Ed who is friends with the girls she doesn't like and Tully's disappeared up Drew's arse and so she's alone - by her own doing mind you - and she's realised that it is important to have close friends in the house. She played the game and it's gone busto on her because one of the big things that bonded the other girls was their dislike of Tahan. Now their group is larger than hers and it's all backfired because they have the power. And even at a base level, no matter how much of a tomboy she claims to be it'd suck to see all these other girls enjoying each other's company while she has no one so I imagine the loneliness + homesickness is kicking in. Her crying is real but like many of us know, we're often the cause of our own pain as Tahan is now.

Tahan already said she hates to cry infront of people.. as it shows weakness..

Her tears were 1000% genuine tonight, thats why Mikkayla did not bicker with her when Tahan confronted her, because Mikkayla was shocked in seeing Tahan crying, she knew those tears were real.

I have to say - it did occur to me that perhaps Tahan was attempting some damage control. She is not dumb & must know she's done some things in the last few days that don't exactly put her in the best light.

She actually talked about the racisms stuff alot on the LFs...and since Mikkayla and Tully brought that topic up for dinner.. she just had her say..

i think she just broke.
it must be hard being nominated every week. the underlying message is that you are the least liked person there and thats got to get you down eventually. combine that with the fact that she doesnt really have anyone to turn to and you get tears.

she's a tough cookie though, she'll get over it.

it pissed me right off when he said "Australia loves an underdog, Tahan" ..seriously. He planted the seed in many minds that she IS an underdog when she is responsible for isolating herSELF!

Yeah but this year and last year they'd always say shit like that to encourage them in the diary room. part of the nicer big bother.

I think her tears were real. But she did bring it on herself. In this game you need friends and you need people to like you. Making fun of people, ditching friends, and doing everything she did was not a very good game plan. Maybe she can learn something here and apply it to real life.

She's just scared because she believes she'll be evicted this time. She wont, though. It'll be the sisters.

There's nice, and then there's directly attempting to influence the voting public. what he said to Tahan was in my opinion more the latter.
