Ed is a deadset prick.

DoubleSpeak: there are many ways & strategies to win the game. The biggest coward is a man who use women to obtain his goal. He isn't so smart to acknowledge that Australian will not support for a guy who leads on woman. Go to big brother FB to see how many people against him.

I get the gameplay thing (if he was smart enough to be good at it), but continually nominating his bed buddy when there are still so many other options amongst people he has no connection to (sugar sisters, Drew, Tim) is just scummy. Jade would never do the same to him, game or no game. Tim was spot-on when he said Ed is frightened of him. It's not an endearing quality.

Morals may not help you win the Big Brother game. But morals usually help in the real game (life).
Ahh - but lack of morals WON'T help you win the Big Brother game. This is BBAU not BBUS - the public are the ones that vote & while they might keep Ed in for a bit to see what he stirs up, he'll never win because he's such a hypocrite.

Everyone does this. They insult someone the most when they show flaws they they themselves have.- Tully is doing this so often I wonder if she is playing an ironic role, because surely no adult could be that unself-aware. Ed does it alot too.

It makes me wonder if it is the same with us - that we hate housemates who have our own flaws...

Lastly, I would like to compliment the OP for the use of the word 'deadset.' This thread seems like an ideal place for some underused insults. Ed is more than just a fuck-knuckle. His polesmoking knobjockeying and pissweak gutless tactics make me sick Actually, he is just a guy who feels no emotions. Doesn't get them. But, he is handsome, so girls come to him, and he has learnt to fake it, using traditional 'good manners' 'They fall for that malarky every time, Big Brother.' All of his decisions, I cannot argue with strategically. I would rather face Jade then Tim. But I still really dislike him and want him to fail, and all moron footheads to fail with him. Drew can see that he has a whole part of his personality that is just missing in Ed. Emotions. Yes, Drew is ruining his own game because he has a crush on someone. Actually, it is beyond the crush, and co-dependence has set in. Still, this is a weakness Ed could never have, because he lacks the facility for emotion. Dumb footy head as Drew said.

Deadset prick this guy.

Thanks and yes he is a DEADSET PRICK THE PRICK OF ALL PRICKS.

I am going to be seriously depressed if Ed wins.
Out of all the HMs I dont particularly mind who wins with the exception of him. A lot of woman will be sucked in by his good lucks and just ignore how much of an asshole he can really be.
The way he is stringing Jade along and nominating/not saving her should be enough proof to show what a careless slime ball he is. But alas, he has a good face and a six pack.

...We are all doomed.

I must say this new ed is growing on me. Haven't seen last night's ep so I hope it lives up to the hype the people here are giving it.

Ed is being such a knobjockey that I'm even warming to Tully and Drew... :/

Well that's the thing. I think it showed why they are together. They only have each other in the house.

This is the level people will stoop to in the house. Being deliberately mean, trying to isolate and break people apart for their own benefit. Divide and conquer.

I also got the distinct feeling from Drew's reaction that there's a been a lot more of Ed set prick that we haven't seen.

The worst thing if he won would be knowing how pleased he would be with himself... I want him to have bad self-esteem, for some reason.

Caleb leaving, and now Matt, has scared Ed to death as he's realised being the nice guy doesn't work. Trouble is playing the viewers doesn't either - and viewers can see right through it. I cringe everytime he talks about the "cards up his sleeve". He knows he needs to beat Tim - but he hasn't got a clue how to do it, so he's trying to bring down Drew instead.

Yep, Tim said the same thing right after Caleb left. He knew that people will be playing dirty after that. You might be right about him targeting Drew, just saw an interesting conversation between Ed and Tahan about Drew.

Do you say that because he rejects Jade? Or the fact that he still continues to lead her on after rejecting her?

I agree with the later. He is a fool for doing that. You say no to her, just stop kissing her already.

I was sad that no one nominated him. He should've been up. I can't stand watching him for another 2 weeks.

Ed is at the bottom of my list, hate the way he is playing Jade, and think his confrontation with Tully was for the viewing audience and he could only do it when he was liquored up...

Have to wonder if his touchy feely with single sister is to create friction between Sisters and Jade??

I wondered what that was all about.. I thought I'd been dreaming. Pretty sure he made references to cards, bombs and other nasties on more than one occasion.
What really troubles me about him now is his threatening demeanour. When he gave Tully 'the briefing' after Friday night's bacchanalia, his facial expression was that of a cruel man about to be unleashed. Of course, he was hammered but we know that's hardly an excuse.

They all have their faults,

You have to wonder who is having the social experiment, them or us.
Each one of them bring out our latent experiences and we react accordingly.

But to some people on here, he was just being a lovely guy doing her a favor....

I think his cards are basically that he's a mean prick. He'll be dropping the nice guy attitude a bit. He's so full of himself he thinks he'll be able to call out and be a total arsehole to Tim in front of the group. Everyone will listen to him and agree and then think he's wonderful.

This Tully thing was definitely him thinking it's a card he has to play. Divide and conquer. It's just all blinded by the fact he loves himself and so thinks everyone will follow suit.

Do you really think he's got the guts to actually criticise or confront Tim (that's if I understand you correctly)? I've yet to see even a hint of courage in his makeup.
