Tully - Could she survive another nomination?

Jade might vote for Tully because of Drew.

Eh, I don't think she cares too much now to be honest. I think she likes Tully so I'm not too confident she'll nominate her. But then again she does have to nominate 2 people and other than Tahan she'll be left with the Sugar Sisters, Mikkayla, Tim, Ed, Drew and Tully so she might nominate Tully for lack of any other options.

Haha true. Have you noticed that we haven't seen much of Tully recently? It's hard to know whether the producers are trying to let the hate die down a bit or if they're purposely giving her the invisible edit. By the way, didn't you used to dislike Tully?
Letting the hate die down a bit would be the sensible thing to do. Then, promote her and show only the nice bits.

I'm sure I did dislike Tully in the beginning. All I ever saw was Tully bawling her eyes out and being too bitchy that early in the game. But the gods have endowed me a special gift: I may at any time change my opinion on anything and anyone. :)
Mikkayla was one of the HMs I was very fond of at the beginning but I'm losing patience with her because of her paranoias and petty issues.

Tully has grown on me because she doesn't appear to be devious and she sincerely seems to like Drew. She packed his suitcase when Drew took Ben to the PS - would Jade have done this? Tully does little things for Drew that are really sweet. She did admit to being an atheist... now this IMO isn't quite as clear cut as we might think and she mightn't be aware that she's actually an agnostic... but at least she had the guts not to be conformist. And she did tell Tim that he should really stay out of it when he didn't know what the convo was about. Extra kudos!

She does have an issue with, for lack of a better word, righteousness - the type of righteousness we are being brainwashed with every day. But because she's still inexperienced in such matters, she's not aware that she's waisting her time and should be focusing on other issues if she wants to make a difference in this world. Mind, at least she's thought about things other than fashion, shoes, hair styling and the colour pink. Kudos again. :)

She did nominate Tully a few weeks back as she felt she was losing her close friends (Tim and drew) to her.

True, but they seem to all be getting along a bit better now. We'll have to see I guess.

I think Tully being in the halfway house at the start really cemented a lot of people's opinions of her because she was often in a bad mood. There are some people (like you) who can change their opinions but there would be a lot of people who have never warmed to her because of her attitude in the first few weeks.

Why do you say that Tully is agnostic, rather than atheist? Also not sure what you're talking about in the last paragraph about righteousness...?

I think the general dislike of Tully would have lessened a fair bit after the halfway house had she not cheated on Tahlia and developed some self-awareness. I actually think Tully had a lot of potential, but she went down the Drully, codependent, cheating route which cemented people's previous negative opinions of her.

I know everyone talks about how Tully has destroyed Drew's chances, but I also think in a way Drew has destroyed her's. I don't think the hatred for her would be quite as intense without her behaviour throughout the Drully saga.

Tahan's best bit was imitating Mikkayla eat.

Her imitation of Lucy's boob flash in the shower was better "DID YOU JUST SEE THAT??? OH MY GOD! BIG BROTHER JUST SAW MY BOOB!"

Yes, the Drully saga made the hate for her more passionate I suppose, but lots of people hated her before that anyway. I think Tully has destroyed Drew's chances at winning but Drew has probably saved Tully from eviction because without him, she wouldn't have has as much airtime, so we'd only see her crying every so often.

According to the garbled and badly edited 'religion talk', her school and possibly her parents, the way she was brought up influenced her stance. I can see parents avoid the subject of god, but if the child asks, they have to answer. Now imagine you assure your child she doesn't need to fear god or the devil because they're just silly old stories. Your child will happily sleep that night and you can repeat this many nights until she's grown up and, with your help, is starting to think for herself. Bingo.
Now would you at the same 'no-god/devil' talk insist that she won't ever think about vampires, ghosts, zombies, all the stuff she's bound to encounter? And you don't need to because she'll grow out of the zombie scene all by herself.
But other, more subtle beliefs can emerge and even grow once she's kinda grown up. A common expression of an agnostic is 'I don't believe in a god, but I believe in some higher power'. This is part of the brainwashing I mentioned. 'You've gotta believe in something' - 'I believe in you' - 'I believe in myself' etc we here it every day.
To free oneself of all this debris requires a little more experience than Tully has. I know that MOST people never manage to free themselves of that debris, out of laziness but mainly fear... the fear of the unknown..

I can't see Tully being an atheist yet because you have to BECOME an atheist all on your own even if your parents helped you to stay out of the mire of despair that belief and superstition want to drag you into.
That's it in a nutshell and I am afraid the 'righteousness' would require another chapter.. a controversial one :)

After watching LNF and seeing the ridiculous way she carried on after that chat with ed and finding out about the bottle drew stole surely she can not survive anymore!

Oh my love..but then what did she do, she let out a sly "We're never going to get to go into the PS together" ...She smothers him with sweetness and then manipulates his emotions. It is atrocious vile behaviour. I will give her one thing though, most of the time I do believe that she is oblivious to her own behaviour. That tells me that it is a coping mechanism she has learned and not so much a malicious attempt to control. However, it is not acceptable to treat people in the manner she does and she is old enough to have just a smidge more self awareness now. I can't make up my mind if she is only a naive basketcase or a malicious manipulator. She seems to exhibit characteristics of both.

I haven't changed my opinion on her simply because her behaviour continues to disgust me. If anything I had more compassion for her in those early days. I do see a few redeeming qualities in her though. She is certainly a better person than that snake she snuggles up to.

Yeah she's quite abusive, I can't watch that....she needs to go that sort of treatment is extremely damaging.

Wow - snake?? That's a bit harsh if you ask me - he seems to be the only one who cares about her & puts up with her sulks & moods for the most part (though I can't fathom why he does)

Drew is a snake because of how he treats his apparent two closest friends in the house(after Tully, I mean)
He is so two-faced in his dealings with Tim (looking back to when they were all planning a mutiny) and his disloyalty to Jade because of the bitterness he holds from her not wanting him as anything but a friend, it is disgusting to me.
I don't think even Tully can safely trust him, to be honest. He does appear loyal to her ..but I thought his friendship with Tim was solid and that proved to be far from true.

Hmmm..I think he likes Tim, but doesn't totally trust him (with good reason). As for Jade, how is he being disloyal? She threw him over for a shell of a man, so how can he know how much of a loyal friend she really is (although I actually think she is quite loyal to him, but not before Ed - she needs to drop Ed like a hot potato).

To me there is a big difference between not trusting a friend and colluding against them to basically throw them under the bus..all whilst claiming loyalty to their face.

As for Jade..she made it very clear to Drew when she began pursuing Ed (and a few times since then) that her main loyalty is to Drew as her best friend in there regardless of any lil fling with Ed. To be honest...I think if it came down to it even now she would remain loyal to Drew over Ed.

Anyway..each to their own, hey? I just personally really dislike what I see in Drew.

I hope it's either Tully or Tahan that goes. At this point I dislike Tahan more. I think Tully just needs some meds or a shrink .. but Tahan is just cruel. It would be SO GREAT to see Drew without Tully. Not that I trust him. But things would change in the game a lot. I'd love to see what would happen then. But Tahan is just blah and I lose hope for humanity when people stick up for her say things like "Tahan is just being honest and real! The others are fake!" Ugh. Sheeple.

Nah the fembots need to go. They ad the least to the show.

Ed and Tim are in full anti-Tully campaigning

I think she will probably go, whilst the sugar sisters will stay and continue to add very little to the group dynamics.
