Housemate #2 - Tahan

I have a newfound respect for tahan. I don't condone what she said about mikkayla, but I believe she was angry and we all are guilty of throwing words left right and centre when we are blinded with rage. I'll be the first to admit some awful things can come out of my mouth when I'm angry with someone. In saying that I respect the girl for being a tough cookie. She does not have anyone to cry to really. But she doesn't cry anyways, she will stand on her own two feet and doesn't need anyone to defend her or back her up. It takes guts to do that and it takes a strong heart. I love this about tahan and its probably the reason I can never dislike her. You have to take the good with the bad. And we all have our good side and the bad side. Tahan has no filter and can say the wrong things but you know what? Her good outweighs the bad as far as I'm concerned.

you are definitely crossing a line here....

only because your fav doesnt like tahan doesnt mean you should just bag them out. Yes tahan can be considered to be bitch and some of her comments are quite nasty. But there should be some sort of respecting hms and not going on like an idiot like you are right now. it is because of fans like you that i dislike jade, nothing to do with her at all. and spell her name right because i know you know how to! And when is she "whiny"? You dont see other posters going on like this do you?

edit - may i add that you are just butthurt that she got so many votes to save

This :) why cant all jade fans be like this?
 
She's authentic and we can sense it.
And what she's trying to tell everyone - many of the HMS are being fake, fake, fake nice, fake bullshitters. Faking friendships, they play fake nice when they really hate each other, or want to beat this or that one.
There is a fairly fake atmosphere a lot of the time - like Jade seems so very aware of cameras all the time

You know what's funny, if I was to compare myself to someone in the house, it would be tahan hands down. I say things before thinking it through, I'm upfront and honest and I'm a little flakey. I will change my mind that many times it is ridiculous and I don't care. But for so e reason I relate to jade more, because I can be quiet and I can be extremely insecure and I guess in a way I feel like I want to protect someone like jade. Sounds ridiculous, but there is no reason why you like a hm, you just do. I don't have to justify it and neither do you or anyone else.

i completly agree with this :) people ask why anyone would like tahan and there is so many things i could say but the main reason is that i just like her

LOL what show are you watching?! If Jade was acutely aware of the cameras she wouldn't make such an idiot of herself with Ed.

People liking or disliking housemates are so personal that it's always so difficult to explain! Agree with both of you that you just like who you like.

It's actually crazy how similar I am to Jade (and we look like complete opposites). Maybe I don't like Tahan because she's just nothing like me, I don't know really.

She's polarizing though. A lot of people like her because of her "honesty" and a lot of people just can't stand her. I'm in latter. I do not wanna see a bully win again two seasons in a row
 
Really glad Tahan stayed but this week I was fairly sure she would be okay anyway. I have decided that I am on board with her for sure, she has had moments where I go "what the f*ck, did you seriously just say that!!" but then I think at least she is being herself and bringing it 100%. Gotta respect that!! I mean who can hate on a done up Tahan waltzing into the gym with people all around and have a "i want to be alone!" moment! Classic!

However I was really bummed that she just missed the fake eviction, would have been tv gold had she gotten it. Sugar sisters would have copped it bad as well as Mikkayla. Tahan probably would have forced Tully and Drew to be split for a while if the fake evictee has as much power to do things to housemates as I am guessing. I feel Ben is too nicey nice to do anything really amazing, but we shall see...

Well....without condoning that behaviour mikayla is the one that goes on about her weight and gloats about eating a lot.
And Tahan attempted to apologise, do bullies apologise? Pretty sure she's just a bit of bitch sometimes.

Just coz Mikkayla gloats about her weight or eating habits doesn't mean its ok for people to make fun of it. Tahan was completely in the wrong with her comments and Mikkayla deserved more than the lame apology Tahan gave her.

At Least Tahan apologised, didn't hear boo from mikayla for yelling at her.

Plz QQ more, idc about what you think of me. I am merely voicing my opinions, this is a forum isn't it? She doesn't get my respect so I don't care what I call her and don't care if its wrong. Tehan, Tehan, Tehan! Why I should I show respect to a HM who doesn't show respect to others?!?
Plz tell me the line I am crossing??? Yep okay I insulted her but every housemate gets insulted, who cares?

P.S. I couldn't care less if you didn't like Jade...everyone has their own opinions and I find it sad you don't like people because you don't like their fans! LOL!

I don't call it an apology when it wasn't even properly sincere and knowing her lies before she probably twisted it to make it better than it seemed. Anybody remember the Katie and Lucy situation? "Oh, I didn't mean it like that, I meant blah blah blah...." She lied through her teeth just so she could save herself when we all know she meant it.
She's just one of those girls who say something mean, pretends its a joke when they're being dead serious.

I know I was devo'd that Tahan just missed out. I wish I had voted more. She would have been so strategic with that power. Every single person would have been affected by her power. I'm concerned with Ben saying 'I'll be fair'...No, don't be fair.....be evil lol

Yeah she did twist it a bit but I do think she did try and smooth things over, she didn't have to apologise to her.
The fact that she did it means she must hold mikayla in some sort of regard even if it is low.
