BB Ads Favouritsm? Ben, Tim, etc

I asked this in the Ben thread but so far no one has answered. Its a genuine question. Last night they played the Big Brother ad that is supporting Ben " Isnt he the most adorable Housemate ever?" 4 times within a few hours.
My question is do they show any other Housemate in these ads that are supposed to be for Big Brother? I have yet to see one. Please tell me all the Housemates have been shown. That would be the fair thing to do wouldnt it?
Its obvious they are favouring him and it just annoys me so much.

If I'm totally honest with you I have not viewed any of those ads - apart from the ambi-pur ad just once and not even the whole ad. The reason for this is because I watch the show and then during the ads I run to the computer to speak to all of you :D

LOL, so do I for the same reasons. I even miss bits of the show reading the posts
 
Someone might have a video of the promo. I cant find on youtube. Its not on at the same time as the show. But channel 9 showed it later on in the night. Its ridiculous and if no other Housemates are shown that is blatant favoritism. I miss the old channel 10 days "sigh"
 
I've seen the Ben ad a billion times! It's like mind control! 'yes.ben.is.adorable.' It's so stupid. Never seen any for other housemates

LOL! Same! That's why I always re-write history! From now on I'm definitely watching the show on the couch when it's on then during the ad breaks I'll come to the pc :) Obviously I am incapable of multi-tasking ;)

Ahhhh yes! I remember that - wasn't this because of a task or an episode relating to Ben? I'm not really sure why they do this but obviously they want to make the videos exciting make people laugh.
 
Watch channel 9 continue to try hard to paint Tim as a villain and Ben as an adorable underdog for the inevitable Tim/Ben final 2.
 
Remember all the 2012 Bradley idents. That was probably a little more manipulative than this IMHO. I guess they can say Ben is loved because the HMs love him. Brad was used almost as the 'face' of network nine for a while.

Let's admit, Tim, whilst funny and likable, does villainous acts. While Ben is usually light hearted and nice. So they have to advertise them that way. They're not doing anything wrong.

Also, Ben is a very interesting housemate. It's his quirkiness that they like. He seems the most unique one out of them all, IMO.

Why will they advertise the boring Ed, Matt, Heidi and Mikkayla (over Ben)? Since when have they done 'adorable' stuff, considering that they're quiet and boring most of the time? They're lacklusters and no one would bother showing them on ads (unless if they're hooking up though).

Ben definitely stands out as the weird, interesting and funny one. He is ad-worthy. Tully and Tahan can be advertised as bitchy and outspoken. Tim can be advertised as the shit stirrer and strategist, with a bit of comedy thrown in (the guy is funny).

There is nothing interesting about the others even if they're likable (Jade, Ed, Katie/Lucy). So there's no need to yell out "so unfair!".

No. Tim is this show's hero and the true underdog of the season. I for one don't buy what BB is trying to sell me here.
 
What about in the interest of not appearing biased? I guess thats why they should have promos for all the Housemates. I didnt ask about how they would promote them just that they should do so.
As for who is boring thats speculative. I think Ben talking to his photos is weird and boring.
Hes certainly not the most adorable Housemate ever either.
 
Yeah, I have seen these ads several times and wondered whether they have made them for any other housemate. Very biased.
 
There are two others of these "generic" ads ( ie, not advertising a specific episode )

One is for Caleb, Matt and Ed (all in one ad) which I guess we won't see now that Caleb is gone.

The other is for Tahan:

I hadn't noticed that there is a difference between what BB uploaded to YouTube and what aired on FTA for the "Eligible Bachelors" ad featuring Caleb, Matt & Ed.

Here is that comparison. Left is FTA, right is YouTube. Maybe Nine didn't approve?

I don't like how BB has a segment on a particular HM on Big Brother Confidential. Last night it was on Mikkayla and last week it was on Jade. I don't mind BB showing us more of some HMs than others if it makes the show more interesting, but having a whole segment on just one person is blatant favouritism.

I dont see that as favouritism. At least they are showing every Housemate. I have seen one for Tully and the others too.
The ads are different they are meant to be for Big Brother but so far I have only seen the Ben ones. I have never seen any others. They were played again last night 4 of 5 times over a period of a couple of hours. Now thats what I call being biased.

It is favouritism because they could just show us a few different HMs in the time they spend on just one and there wasn't even any particular reason for it that I could see, i.e. Mikkayla didn't do anything all that interesting to 'deserve' that segment. It was a little different when it was Jade because she confessed some things about her ex and her confidence and stuff, but I didn't see the need for one on Mikkala last night. I agree with you about the ads though. I've only seen ads for Ben and for Ambi Pur which has a few HMs. I'd prefer if they showed several HMs in each Big Brother ad.
