Episode Day 33 (30th August 13) 30min Daily Show

You should do that then you would stop posting so much rubbish

I could slow down a bit I do have all the time in the world to show my support for Tim and Mikkayla!

On the other hand I think you are running out of time! What are you going to do Monday might, after Tully is evicted? I think Heidi could be the next evictee, maybe you should continue your lost cause and support her?

short show, short random thoughts

- tim has sown chaos brilliantly. i honestly don't believe he has a plan to win, so much as a plan to create havoc and keep australia entertained. he realises that, ultimately, it doesn't matter how much you're nominated, it matters that australia votes to save you.

- his "I don't know if I should say anything... no, I won't, I don't know for sure..." was awesome bait and tully took it hook, line and sinker. He dangled the bait then walked away. that whole event he has deniability for - he didn't tell her anything! genius

- tully's arguing techniques are so obviously about winning and dominating and nothing about truth or honesty. honey, that's why no one in a relationship loves you back as much- you are all teeth and claws and no reason.

- drew stood up for himself reasonably well, but was later back to snuggling her. he has no balls

- speaking of drew's lack of balls, he didn't stand up for tahan at the end. seriously, drew, you're off my list, and I hope more people's as well. he was all fine backing tahan privately, but wasn't prepared to do so publicly. there are ways to do that, disarming both parties (more below), but instead, he is so anti-confrontation that he melted in the presence of the strong women

- speaking of that argument, lucy came in and spoke poorly about wanting pancakes outside, and tahan spoke poorly about not making them for everyone (ie only for ben). it didn't need to blow up, but both are sitting on kindling with the other, so it doesn't take much to set it off. but for the record, the sisters have lost points in my book, because instead of being positive, they are being as passive aggressive as anyone else in there. so much for their principles.

- i'm not saying the meathead workout was gay

- major points to jade tonight. firstly, she was genuine in telling drew what people are saying and being concerned. even if not, it is no worse a ploy than tully used all along to lure drew away from jade's post-marriage affections. but, secondly, she is the only one pausing to question what exactly tim is doing. the rest, led by the idiot heidi, are saying he's controlling the game, he's manipulating everyone (and, to quote mikayla, bluh-bluh-blah). But he's not....

but think about this for a second - the guy who just put himself up to be evicted is in control? are you stupid or do you have to work at it? he's creating chaos, he has every one of you chasing around trying to "figure him out", talking about him, and throwing you all off your games.

as mrs. riddim pointed out tonight, all he's done is picked each of their insecurities and served them back up to each of them. and then like keyser soze, he disappears.

because ultimately, as I said at the top, the winner is voted for by australia. he's playing the game on a completely different level - it takes smarts, creativity, but most of all guts (or, as I've said before, a complete lack of "caring about the outcome").

Crazy? Crazy like a fox.

The fact that we see 30 minutes of footage from the house in the space of 96 hours from Thursday Night-Monday Night is ridiculous. No wonder we hardly know the majority of these housemates.

It's odd for channel 9 to do this as am sure their revenue from voting is not as high as it would be if people had more TV watching hours to motivate them to vote.

really need a camera angle so we can actually see what goes on behind the bed. I find it so bizarre that there isn't.

the Theorist There is an angle there - we just rarely see it.

They probably use the wideshot most of the time so they don't have to keep a camera moving about.

I love your thoughts. Can't wait until I can actually see this episode (long boring sorry but won't be until Sunday sob sob)

Mikkayla's increasing mass is turning her into the gravitational black hole of the house! :D

I've noticed that Tully supporters are every bit as unappealing as she is! Everything that Tully does in the house and everything that her supporters do outside makes it less and less likely she will survive Monday!

So keep making these charming comments, I'm sure Tully will thank you in person on Monday!

Tim can't want Tully evicted because he's put her in a position where she's at the centre of attention.

He had enough foresight to know Sharon and Jasmin were likely evictees, he knows that getting Tully saved is in his best interest. By making the easily manipulated and reactive Tully his enemy, he gets more public support and makes her a part of his "Tim show". Airtime means she is more likely to get votes to save. He wants her there. Getting rid of Caleb or Ed is his top priority. He's just doing it in a way that won't make people suspicious that he wants Tully to stay. Nominating Tully and Caleb together and putting himself up is all part of the plan. He won't want Jade out either because she is part of his plan to ruin Ed's Mr perfect image.

That's what I think Tim's strategy is anyway. He doesn't bother with people he can't manipulate, he just makes plans to get rid of them. People like Heidi or Tully who react to him and think they have him worked out are just giving him what he wants.

And if things don't go his way he assesses the situation and recalibrates. An excellent analysis

Dear Ed fan: let's agree that Jade brought it upon herself, OK? Ed still has done jack shit in the house. Why do you reply to my post when you have absolutely nothing valid to say about what I said? Seriously. Don't do it.

Funny calling my posts invalid when you are the one posting invalid stuff.
Wow keyboard warriors.
If you don't know the truth, don't post at all like seriously..

Yeah. Just after I made that post, they showed an unsteady shot from behind one of the panels as Drew left the bedroom. Hadn't noticed it too much before.

See, I'm not sure if I completely agree with Mercy's analysis. Although Tim knows that by toying with Tully she'll most likely get airtime, he also would've heard the boos for her. He knows he's popular on the outside as do the other HMs so anyone is going to suffer with the public vote (other than Ben probably) if they go up against him. If Tim really does want Tully to stay, that's a massive risk to take with someone up who is already disliked enough so early on (both in the house and outside it) to warrant that many nomination points + a crowd reaction like that. I can see why he didn't save her - because again, they all know she's disliked on the outside - but I don't think he'd deliberately provoke her this week if he wanted her to survive Monday.

Tim is also keeping Tahan at close range too. The chat while playing basketball, done in ear shot of Tully gets Tahan noticed as a Tim supporter. That certainly peeved Tully no end.We haven't seen much air time of Caleb except for a bit of bitching about Tully and Tim. I agree that Tim's strategy might be a way of getting Tully saved, so if she goes it won't be his fault, but he will perhaps get blamed. The man is a puppet master, even getting jade to set the spot fire on Drew and Tully's friendship was a work of art.
He might not win but he certainly appears to be planning to guide his favorite to the post, either way he is great entertainment.
Stay tuned folks

hi and welcome...what did matt tell jade, i missed it.
Hi ;)Thanks for the welcome!
I'm not sure what Matt said (or if he said anything directly to her) but comparing how they were acting in week 2 (holding his hand through the fence) and now he's (not very nice) dissing of her, shows that he has somehow gotten her to back off. If Ed is going to go around complaining to people about Jade jumping into bed with her, he should let he know again that he's not interested in anything romantic with her...or give in...just get off the fence...
(if that makes sense?)
I'm not a Matt or Jade fan, just really hate it when housemate's try to stay so non-confrontational
