I got a PM from a NL (not the entire username) asking can I keep a secret.

I knew straight away who it was, yet I haven't heard from the original member. Maybe they took a post of mine as racist etc, even though it wasn't & I was joking.

But who cares, that's life I guess.

Yes!! It's less than coincidental that most of the better HMs (IMO) - S-m, Nathan (back then), Marty, Chrissie (back then), Dan, Reggie, Vesna, Camilla, bogan Michelle & Terri - were 'garden-variety' people...and most models etc (don't even want to start listing them) weren't...

Much more entertaining back then .... lots more HMS actually had developed personalities rather than relying on their looks to get them through life.

Yes Caleb is no fool but I do find him irritating. What is the love for Matt about I am not getting it.
 
Was happy to see that Matthew was one of the few HMs who could see the funny side to Tim's faux party.

What happened?

Only a few weeks ago you dramatically and publicly proclaimed to have me on your block list (but between us, I always knew you didn't... Ha!)

I absolutely take your criticisms on board regarding my writing. Given that I was expelled from school in Year 9, I am not an example of a formally educated forum member like you are, nor have I ever proclaimed to be. I am however always looking at ways to improve my writing and understanding. I believe there are opportunities to learn and grow everywhere, even in forums. I believe being an active member of a forum has helped improve my writing to the point I was able to enroll and successfully complete my Diploma in Enrolled Nursing. Four years ago I didn't know my there from my their from my they're, or my your from my you're. I think a forum is the perfect platforms to learn and have your written vocabulary grow and I am sure many people who are learning to write in English use them to improve their writing skills.


My problem with you is, you talk the talk, but you don’t walk the walk. On one hand you have proclaimed to be the master of many careers and yet your badly written responses in here don’t support the extensive study you have undertaken to complete your many degrees. You constantly attack housemates based on their looks, unfairly judge their lack of intelligence and attack housemates because of what you see as their “hideous ignorance of the English language” and yet when you are called out on your own blatant ignorance when using the English language, you churn out this badly written tripe as a rebuttal.

You are the self-proclaimed Lawyer/Art Teacher/English Literature/Psychologist/Journalist. You were the one chirping about housemates “hideous ignorance of the English language, I am merely pointing out, if you are going to be the forum artistic, linguistic, psychological and literary messiah, you really need to be able to back yourself when it comes to your own written word, otherwise you just look silly.

Worst. Lawyer. Ever.

Back on topic, Matt's niece is cuter than a box of puppies. And his beautiful sister in law is back to sparkling. Her status update today read "Loving life! Everything seems so right and complete". Her and her husband are basking in baby love.

I for one think you have an amazing command of the english written word. A-Ma-Zing.

On babies, my friend from work just gave birth to beautiful fraternal twins! One of each to go with her 3 and a half year old son. She is over the moon.

And I have nothing on topic to add at this time. Carry on.
