The Tully factor.

When Tim and Ed were talking about the Drew/Tully relationship, Tim said that Drew couldn't see that Tully was doing the same thing to him that Jade was. She works on the 'I don't want everyone thinking you are a fool' angle. The addition of the "because I love you" line was a good tactic as he has told Tully he needs affection in the house

i've noticed that, he's not being all dreamy eyed towards her...she clings to him and he always seems to be looking away, not smiling just going through the motions.

So are you saying that Drew realised that he doesn't need Jade for affection now that he has Tully?

Partly.

Some of the vision we saw of Jade and Drew in their room during the marriage task showed them flirting and behaving in similar ways to how they are now - so that really type of behaviour hasn't change all that much. However Tully has been constantly bringing up Jade with Drew for the last week and a half or so, definitely since the night of Jade's birthday, questioning how he feels about her and undermining Jade and emphasising how Drew will be seen by others - making him question how Jade acts and what her motivation is - while actively encouraging Jade towards Ed. She has told him that she is the only one that is concerned about him. In the unrealistic environment of the house, where strategies are always in play, it's been pretty easy for Tully to work on Drew, and for him to believe t the picture Tully is painting. He is now seeing Jade as suspect, and Tully as the person he can trust.

I think Tully has two motives - one is divide and conquer (Jade and Drew were very close), and the other is that she is attracted to Drew and jealous of whatever place Jade holds with Drew.

Tully has a point though. Jade has been leading Drew on, then saying he's like a brother to her, then flirting with him again, then flirting with Ed, then back to Drew, etc. I think Tully was genuinely worried about Drew because he was just letting Jade take control and send him mixed messages. But it's hard to tell if Tully is actually attracted to Drew. We have no evidence to say that she likes him any more than as a good friend.

True, but I also think that Tully was quite instrumental in manufacturing the Ed/Jade thing. Quite early on after the marriage task was exposed, Tully is seen telling various different groups on a number of occasions that Ed and Jade were the house's assumed couple - putting that idea out there. She has actively encouraged Jade in that direction (she also told Drew on the night of Jade's party that she would be encouraging Ed/Jade) - and yes, Jade has definitely flirted with Ed. But her behaviour with Drew is a continuation of how they interacted from the time they met, not a new development.

Tully is an avid BB fan, and knows what works. She is also a very good strategist and is using what's available eg Jade's behaviour and Drew's concern about how is been perceived (as well as his stated need for affection and attention in the house) to manipulate things to her advantage. By helping put a distance between Drew and Jade she is getting rid of an alliance and strengthening another in her favour.

She is into Drew
 
Watch the demise of Jade once Drew really pulls back. I think he will do it in a nice kind and subtle way though, not just suddenly not spend any time qith her or not talk to her.

But Jqde is gonna be really upset by the double 'rejection' and her votes to save will be depleting by the second. I gaurantee she'll be next out after this double vicvic.

If Tully was that strategic, she would know that getting Jade into a relationship with Ed would just make Jade and Ed more popular with the viewers. She couldn't have known that Ed would reject Jade, and Jade liked Ed from the start anyway. If she was encouraging it, it would have been in the way that people try to play matchmaker with their friends.

How do you know she's into Drew? She's already said she's more into girls than guys and she already has a girlfriend.

Tully knows how BB voting works, and that teen girls are a major voting demographic. As a social media strategist she is well aware how opinions spread and take on a life of their own. Jade is flirty -and by having her be seen as flitting from someone like Drew - a typical tweenies dream - whether Ed and she got together or not, would have an adverse effect on Jade. Tweenies nearly always take the side of the object of their affection, feeling that the poor gorgeous guy has been wronged and he deserves someone better.

Tully has said she is more into girls than guys, yes - but also said it was largely because the kinds of guys she met. She said that the guys in the big brother house weren't like the guys she knew. She also said that she could see herself marrying a guy and having kids with him. Watch her on the shows and the live feed videos - often in the backgound - and look at the way she watches Drew.
 
Yes, they look cute together - I'll give them that but my God Drew deserves better! In all honesty, Drew is going to make himself look like an idiot if he keeps going back!

It's too hard to develop a strategy like that when you're that close to the drama and can't see the big picture. Ed has always been "Mr Perfect", so for all Tully knows, he could be more popular than Drew. Tully has just been pointing out the obvious: that Jade is screwing Drew over.

Even if Tully does like Drew, she wouldn't ever act on it because of her gf, so there would be no point in breaking up Drade for that reason. I think she just gets on really well with him.
 
I am definitely sensing that Tully is into Drew. And after that convo with Tim where they were talking about sexuality and how she was questioning hers or whatever. And that she didn't realise there were actually "nice" guys because she had hung out with lesbians for so long.... just paints a picture of a girl who suddenly finds herself surrounded by a bunch of hot, nice guys and realises that maybe she's not such a lesbian after all. And add that to the fact that Tully has said she dated guys all through high school, her last boyf was 2 years ago, and she wouldn't be surprised if she married a man... like no disrespect for her girlfriend on the outside (who I feel sorry for tbh) but it looks like Tully is warming up to the idea of guys again.

Also, newest live feed just had Tully talking to Ed, Jasmin and Matthew about how she's not ready to leave tonight because: “This House has made me reassess my whole life to be honest." ???????

And I am definitely getting vibes that Tully likes Drew, and she's used this whole Jade/Ed situation to manipulate herself into the middle and become the master puppeteer. Like smurfette said, I remember conversations between her and Drew where she purposely questioned Jade's motives and highlighted to Drew how stupid he looks, and then turned around and consoled Jade about Ed and told her that Ed was probably just a nice guy and was too afraid to get into anything - but not discouraging Jade at all.

I'm torn between wanting Tully to stay and cause up more drama, but also I don't want her to do too much damage between Drew and Jade. Yes, Jade is a serial flirter, but at the same time, Drew is letting it happen. He should just pull her aside and be like "What's the deal?"

Yes Tully is the trouble maker. She needs to butt out of it. She should be gone tomorrow though. Notice how she goes up to Jade and asks how are things with Ed but she does not or has not questioned her about Drew though. Tully wants Drew its as simple as that.
Yeah i also think its time Drew talks to Jade and find out whats going on. There has been poor communication between all involved.

I don't see what the problem is. Jade obviously doesn't deserve Drew, considering she can't even make up her mind about whether she likes him or not. Tully is showing him that. Even if Tully likes him, she's doing the right thing.

It's now gotten to the point where he really needs to sit down with Jade and tell how he feels - whether it be real feelings or just attracted and wanting a cuddle-buddy for support - and ask if she feels the same. If she does, get it happening, and if she doesn't, then ask her to put a hold on the flirting.

Just do something other than participate in the flirting, and then talk to Tully about it
