Drade - Still A Better Love Story Than Twilight

^ I agree, actually. Jade and Drew have a cute friendship going. I don't really see him meshing as well with the other girls.. maybe Tahan? I'm really curious to see how those two talk one on one.

Im confused about her calculations because she said she dated guys all throughout high school. Assuming she was 18 when she finished, that means she wouldn't have had time to date any guys in the mean time, but she did have a boyfriend recently. She made a point of how recent it had been.

I couldn't care less what her actual orientation is, I just find it strange how she reasoned everything. It doesn't add up. Regardless, she's definitely into Drew, and I agree with those who say they don't really have any chemistry together.

I know! Like how does she say she only see's him as a friend and then behave the way she does. She's fooling herself bigtime!

I've been a V8SC follower for 10 years and can say that David Reynolds is a funny and down to earth guy. I think him and Tahan are very well suited.
 
I think they should send Estelle from last year back in the house to pay Drew some attention..she would be the perfect person to give Jade a wakeup call :D

She probably feels comfortable with him. I used to be the same I would flirt and muck around with my best guy friend, we even used to sleep in the same bed and snuggle etc.. I used to only ever think if him as a friend until bam I was jealous of him and another girl. It's easy to confuse feelings.
 
I never really understood Estelle. I wouldn't have picked on her at all like the housemates did, but I also don't understand why a lot of people loved her. I must have missed something. Although she was FAR better than Angie (awful, awful girl) etc. She managed to punch above her (physical) weight with Ryan, so I guess she could do it with Drew.

Come to think of it - my best male friend when I was young ended up being my byf but we used to sleep in the same bed and jokingly flirt too. You make a good point :)

Hahaha That's so funny. I thought Ryan was punching above his weight with her..but I was/am one of those Stellahood Nutter's..don't hold my insanity against me though :p hahaha
 
I've been a fan of Jade's since the beginning and I don't think I will dislike her any time soon.

I don't have much of a problem with her Drew/Ed Dilemma.....it's clear that she likes Ed but now realises he doesn't like her back. I think she feels very attached to Drew and that's why she still sticks around him and cuddles him, etc. I remember she told someone once that she loved him (as a friend) and with a feeling like that, you can't just ditch someone even when you develop romantic feelings for someone else.

I don't know if Drade will happen but I will be happy if they continue to be cute. :)
 
LOL that made me laugh, tbh. I feel like some part of his brain was like "wtf are you doing?" and was distracting him from it.

Yeah she's obviously conveniently left out those details, she also referred to herself as straight in past tense as well.
Who knows, I'll be disappointed if she turns out to be a phoney.

Absolutely.
That's why I like her, when her and Drew had the married task she couldn't physically lie or manipulate people...and she felt guilty doing.
It's rare to have such a genuine housemate.

Yeah, Great post. I also loved that "girl code" comment. I guess Jasmin doesn't understand the girl code when she sees Jade crack onto three of the five single guys in just 2 weeks, one of which she was meant to be married to for a week.

Haha, that was awkward/intriguing/frustrating/entertaining to watch all at once. Perhaps Ed is just that nice (nice guy etc) that he has trouble saying 'no' to people (i know some people like that) no matter how uninterested he is or whatever other situation it might be. That would explain his inability to just directly come out with it that he isn't interested, and judging by his behaviour afterwards, he was probably just hoping the issue disappeared on its own.. but Jasmine accelerated the process for him lol.

On another note.. it would have been SO good if Drew didnt jump straight over and scratch Jades back when she 'graciously' let him approach her by saying "you can scratch my back if you want". She clearly went for the safest 'no rejection' option. Who knows, if Drew didnt do that she might have been all over Matt next as well since she had previously expressed interest in him/blatently complemented him etc. Like someone said earlier in the thread, she defines herself by her looks and it comprises her identity so its definetly a shock to her system (the Ed rejection)
 
^ Yeah, what was that? I like him and all, but she basically has him wrapped around her finger, and it makes him look weak. It really irritated me that she said "if you want"... as if she knows he gets pleasure from it, which is arrogant.

I love and don't love these two all at the same time.
 
I find it odd though because at least initially ed seemed to be into her, perhaps cause she was giving most of her attention to drew early on.
I'm shocked that he knocked her back, to be honest.
 
^ Me too! Apparently his sister said he has to stay away from a relationship in the house, so maybe that's what changed it. To me it still doesn't make sense why he'd tell Jazz she's not his type- doesn't seem very nice.
