My Kitchen Rules! Yay!

The bully thing is allover the internet - elsewhere, and of course the dumbarses at whirlpool.
Not around here - we are more cynical viewers and we don't get led by the nose the way a lot of viewers do.

Most other web comments just follow whatever 7 is pushing, so everyone hates the Cabramatta bitches who can outcook everyone.

Funny how everyone forgets that other contestants have been doing the mean thing behind backs.

I find that their criticism (Cabramatta girls) on the food is usually pretty honest, unlike the spice girls who disliked every known food to man... lol!!!! :cool:
Ok, maybe not every known food but their list was growing!!!!! :rolleyes:
 
This show is set up to CREATE friction - smart people and RTV fatigued twig to it and watch it as a comedy.
Dimwits swallow 7s crap and get all worked up and watch it as a drama.

The set up, pick maybe 6 people who can cook really well - that's just for the finale really; another 3 that are OK and have a lame partner; and the rest are all hot air, I mean they can maybe cook a few things OK but mostly it's all in their inflated egos.

So the bottom dwellers are allways going to be struggling and moaning and the really good cooks will be pissed off, and the lame partners are allways going to be hit and miss and create drama/comedy.
And then anything can happen in a TV studio and cooking is precarious.

But those Italians weren't very good cooks, they just think they are, hell they got out Italianed last night - clever Jake, judges wouldn't have a clue.
And I allways give up on anyone poaching pears - they suck as sweets
 
I think most of the teams THINK they were good cooks..... It's all in their collective heads. :)

The toxic twins haven't really been tested. All they cook is asian food. A real test would be to put them out of their comfort zone.
 
Definitely not bullying. That's ridiculous to even say. Bitchy. Yes, we can tick that box. But bullying? Not a chance.

And if I remember correctly the toxic twins (Yes I am loving that now, [MENTION=22233]Mud Cake[/MENTION] ;) ) did cook outside the asian genre once when they made those meatballs. And they sucked. Ha!

Glad you like the new name I made for A and S.... :)

I know they did the meatballs but this show should be about challenging these people more, not letting them cook within their comfort zone. Just my 0.02 cents worth.

Yeah absolutely agree. I love that the one time they have even slightly wavered from Asian it was a bomb! Hahahaha!! Bring on haggis night!! :D

I enjoyed watching the Italians, but they were hopeless, tizzy, and those eyelashes are amazing - but I would search every dish they made for bits of hair.

It's worth reading the bios - dark haired one has eyelash business.

And I have loved Jake & Elle since 1st ep, they are very cute to watch, so very bros/sis.
And read their bio - quite interesting, they have been responsible for the family meals since they were very young

Jake and Elle are really good amateur cooks they are my favourites I think. A and M needed to go, all that make up and hair grossed me out.

I don't think MKR was on last night, my T-Box didn't record it.:confused:

Hey ratbags!

I am loving MKR! And as usual, I am in the vast minority in my love for the Asian Sensations! I love those two girls! And I really love the fact they can cook and they give us a show.

I also liked the Italians (talk about great hair and makeup) however given that I am a newly graduated nurse, I couldn't help but cringe every time Melina's name was read, you see, in nursing terms a melena is a yucky black tarry POO!

I love the diverseness of the group and I actually like the lot of them, although Dad and mini me did give me the heeby jeebies. I am torn over whether I hate or love one of the judges though, the Irish judge, while part of me just wants to pop his eyeballs out and stick them in his nasty self righteous arse, another part of me just wants him to clear the dining room table and throw me down on it naked...

Actually that reminds me of the scene with Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lange in the remake of The Postman Always Rings Twice. There's a scene just like that on a kitchen table with them, and rumour has it there was actual penetration

Get with the program - this show isn't about cooking, and why would any of them cook outside the comfort zone whatever that is?
This series =I think they need to establish that they can cook anything edible, most of them have been cooking trash.

Quite a few here like the Asian Sensations :) I know I do and yes re the Melina/Melena, I've seen some shocking ones over the past 30 odd years. :D

And i echo Eliza - I think the majority here love watching the Cabramatta girls, Jake & Sis are I think most agree good fun.
It's quite hilarious to switch between here and other forums.

We are seasoned RTV watchers, wise to the manipy ways of TV producers, cynical and we don't just accept your bullshitty ways TV producers.

But dumbarses at places like Whirlpool are swallowing what they are served whole - and they deleted my post laughing at them & telling them to wiseup, but they let posters abuse each other, weird place.
I just find it sooooooo hilarious that a techie site, where they wax on about being slick and cynical wiseheads are gullible dickheads.

Seven is resting My Kitchen Rules from Wednesday.

This week there are three episodes but next week the show won’t appear due to Easter non-ratings.

Instead Seven has scheduled the following in its place:

Monday March 25
7:30pm Border Security rpt
8pm Easter Special: Great Easter Feasts

Tuesday March 26
7:30pm RSPCA Animal Rescue dlb ep

Wednesday March 27
7:30pm Dynamo: Magician Impossible rpt


The new hype for Easter Monday's show..... Does Kerrie and Craig come clean?????
New rivalry..... oh my, just when we thought everyone was going to be best of buddies and not worry about winning!!
