...I'm sure I heard a story on one of the morning shows that Ringo and his 'All Stars' band were coming out to Australia sometime next year on tour... I'll check it out on the Internet...

...I think that the 'Concert for George' that happened just after George's death was one of the best concerts that I have ever seen... I have a copy of it... George's son is the spitting image of George in his younger days... cheers.

Yep, Ringo is coming out. I won't be going - I'd hate to be disappointed!

...they tried CPR on her after falling from 22 stories?... how was she even alive after falling that distance?... amazing... cheers.

Going home... A lovely thought that in death I could be with my mum and dad. Not that I believe in an afterlife, but it's a good idea; and this is quite a joyous tune.

I wouldnt even like to think when I was working in A&E we'd get patients even after 1 story fall with massive amounts of internal injuries, cant even imagine after that

...I won't go and see him either... as with yourself... I don't want to be disappointed either... I'm listening to that Dire Straits tune as I'm writing this... it's great!... I can honestly tell you I've never heard it before... love it!... cheers.

It's wonderful, ain't it? Glad you like it. Watch the movie, too. Local Hero is great.

...when I was a teenager in England in the 60's my younger brother I used to get handed down some really cool clothes from my older cousins because we were pretty poor and lived in a slum area of London... needless to say my brother I were two of the trendiest and best dressed kids in that neighbourhood...

...when we grew out of them all of our mates used to suck up to us to give the clothing to them... so as you can understand... I don't have a problem with it... then again recieving clothing from someone that you don't know may be a different matter... cheers.

I actually know what you mean. I feel the same about laundromats. All that pubic hair! Eeeew!

Pick your op shop, sweetheart; they'll be dry cleaned, and as long as you wear your underwear, you'll be fine!

Oh, and of course, this is a must in the unlikely event that I ever pass away...

London in the 60's!!! I so get the hand me down thing, that Im cool with especially within a family thing, we were the same until I was about 13 and I shot up I was taller than my brothers and had broader shoulders so I was allowed my own.

Reason I ask is because I was just invited to a "Vintage" shopping market over the weekend, I just can't get past the whole I dont know who wore it before me thing, no amount of washing/dry cleaning can dissolve my germaphobia issue!
