Only in later editions of dictionaries. In my 1951 edition dictionary (and yes, I do have later editions, I do know how they define it now, I just think they should NOT have changed it!!!!!) it is defined simply as "an untidy woman".
 
OMG Estelle is HUMAN, like all of us, like all the other housemates, has said things that isnt becoming like the rest of us, doesnt make her a bad person, doesnt make us bad people, and it doesnt make the other housemates bad people, its done, its over now, she lost, I know that doesnt sit well with some people, but it has happened, can't change it now, everyone just needs to step away and gain some perspective because at the end of the day the world hasnt changed, our lives are not effected, we had an interesting ride for 3 months
 
If I was concerned about any housemate post BB it would be Estelle, she has people who put her such a pedestal or people who are so quick to rip into her, she is human which means like you and I, is flawed one day she will say something out of anger or frustration or even in jest and we will have a 80 page thread about it, with various people either attacking or justifying, yes I know that is the point of a forum and that is fine, but to me either way she is doomed because of the extreme polarising views.

WTF! I was responding to being insulted. It had nothing to do with you and nothing to do with Estelle. FU :mad: I have every right to stand up for myself.
 
Estelle seems to have a realistic view of her future so I don't see any downside for her. You'll always get some hate from somebody if you go on Big Brother but I think she's come out of this series as good as anyone and she'll just get on with her normal life when things die down over the next months, as they will for all the others too.

Not that people of today use the 1950's meaning of the word, so in todays lingo... it ain't 'untidy'.
 
I think I like it in here... this thread is peaceful.
Some of the other threads are still a little uptight.
I think I'll sit in here and enjoy my cuppa.... shhhhhhhhhhhh, don't let anyone know it's quiet in here, I'm just chilling out!!!!

Come on dude, give it a break. You came here to rub in Estelle's defeat and you were asked to leave. Politely if I recall initially. You called us nut jobs and again you were asked to leave.
So perhaps you best go stand up for yourself somewhere else.

I wasn't planning on coming back until I got a notification that my posts had been quoted. As I said before my reply had nothing to do with Estelle - I was standing up for myself. Bizarrely I don't let people insult me without right of reply. RockChick had nothing to do with it, nor did you. And when did I ever call you a nutjob?
 
i ended up following most of them to see what they are up to. some of them's twitter accounts are set up just for BB i assume? think these might drop out soon or already have their own personal accounts? like bradley, he hasnt tweeted for days. or did i follow the right bradley? anyone has a list of their twitter?
