Lookswise I don't see a helluva lot of difference between blokes but hey that's just me. I honestly don't get the appeal women see in men. As a hetero guy I just feel lucky and blessed most women do want to spend time with members of the male sex, whatever their reasons might be.

Yep. Michael has finally cottoned on to the fact that Estelle is popular in the outside world, rather than he, Ben & Stacey who all 3 of had perceived to be the cool kids. So his complete flip regarding Estelle just looks like 100% gameplay to me.

I think Michael has realised his power base has crumbled with Ben's meltdown. It's like the time some mates of mine propositioned semi famous Aus TV star and found themselves in a threesome doggy styling her a few hours later. You'll never know if you never try. Rather than going on a downhill slide, Michael is taking a chance and I think doing the right thing.
There are some downsides. He's potentially damaged his own outside fan base. The cliche of pro-Michael anti-Estelle has had many shows here. The anti-Estelle people are going to be alienated from Michael and similarly some of Estelle's fans will be lost to her.
He'll also lose some Benjamin fans who might have enjoyed sexual ambiguity in Michael with his bromancing and somewhat vague spot on the gay-straight spectrum. He's sort of abandoned the potential support of the purported "gay vote".
But he was ultimately on a losing road and has wisely changed lanes.

It takes mad skillz to coordinate your bannings with your reinstatements. Any punter can have a conversation with an alias, but it takes epic precision and planning to do so with your prodigal son/self.
