Can Estelle really win?

This is Estelle's 6th time up for eviction. Surely her fanbase will be exhausted. I am beginning to think she'll be runner up, with Layla crowned winner.
 
I think she'll probably go this week. There's more shitheads out there then nice, decent intelligent people.
 
I quite like Estelle but all her fans seem to be very aggressive and crude, well I should say most of her fans. Makes me question her a bit cause perhaps some of these fans are friends or family of hers because they seem very loyal to her, and very early in the season too. Maybe she is acting??? Who knows? Starting to want Sam to win now. They all have their faults.

I'm friends with Estelle and I'm certainly not aggressive or crude. I think I'm rather mellow towards Estelle haters to be honest. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and perceptions on these housemates. We aren't all going to like the same people, so I don't see the point in trying to change people's minds. To be honest, Estelle wouldnt want people going psycho and swearing/belittling others for simply having a different opinion.
 
^Unfortunately Viennamoo, it seems 1 or 2 aggressive Estelle fans = All (most) Estelle fans.
No, I think Estelle goes this week which is ok because she'll be happy to see her friends and family, I think that she's enjoying that she's got so far but I'm sick of seeing everyone bitch about her.
I think it comes down to Layla, Ben and Michael to win, hopefully Layla.

What it probably is, is that Estelle is the nicest house mate who has done the least wrong in the house. That's one of the reasons people are drawn to her. However for liking her for being a decent person. Also means they dislike the people who are not decent people.

So it probably seems they are criticizing a lot of other housemates. When in fact that's an illusion because basically everyone in the house, bar Sam has displayed an immense amount of non decent behavior and attitudes.
 
Based on last week's voting %s I thought she might have a good shot at staying. Maybe the more she gets nom'd the stronger her voting support?
 
Yes. There lies the contradiction. Estelle seems to act opposite to the way a lot of her fans act. The best thing about her is that she doesn't normally lower herself to a bitchy level. I think she is playing the game but at least she is being a bit nicer about it and not treading on too many toes (although I do think she used to taunt angie a bit, but I think she got a kick out of it).

If it is family and friends I can understand their actions to some extent. Estelle has been the target of some pretty nasty comments from the likes of Ben, Michael and Stacey, even Sarah while she was there, so to come out swinging isn't exactly unexpected when someone you love has been treated so badly. Not saying it's right, but it is understandable to jump into over protective mode. Seriously, if she was my daughter or sister I wouldn't be pleasant to anyone defending the bitch crew.

As to the voting, I'm thinking maybe her fan base is so used to it now it doesn't matter. This week in particular raises the lovely potential for revenge as an added sweetener.

OMG When Sarah took Estelle and told her that she will listen to her and like it I couldn't believe the self-restraint Estelle showed. I would have gone off and responded with some choice words.

I'm really unsure! There's no doubt in my mind that she'll make it to the final 3 though! If it were her against Layla, Layla would most likely win. BUT, you can never be too sure. :D And then there's Michael...
 
I really don't know at this stage. It is between Estelle Sam or Michael (he does make me laugh).
I know who I don't want to win .. Ben, Stacy, Zoe and I am really not a fan of Layla!

Yeah, not sure I would have responded so well, that was really condescending. It was about then that I really gained a lot of respect for Estelle. She took that like an adult, which is more than can be said for others in the house.
 
If I'm not mistaken, Sarah started this thing with pulling people up on their attitudes and then Ben took over, people fixing others flaws because they are 30 something, wisest of the wise and have no understanding of compassion.

The strength and courage that Estelle has shown is truely amazing.... I think Ben should take a leaf out of her book! ;)

Estelle has a great chance of winning... if we can keep those votes coming in!

I think you have handled yourself really well, I don't think I could even come to a place like this if it was a friend of mine. You have been very fair and tried to see other's views as well as get your own out there in a nice way.
 
Must admit I'm tired of voting (it aint cheap) because of having done it so much, but will continue to do so because Estelle is the only one who deserves to win IMO. Here's hoping anyway.
