Does Benjamin really have the heart of a snake?

I pity him at one level, he's been typecast.
 
Typecast? Because he's gay or because he's a manipulative arsehole?
 
I'm not mad, I just think he's full of shit.

Why don't we just have a series of Ben hate threads numbered 1 to 10 and we can just jump into them randomly to visit a different pattern of scattered hysteria each time?

Ben doesn't have the heart of a snake because he's a mammal.

I honestly think Ben brings entertainment to the show but he is conniving and manipulative. I like to watch him but I would NOT wanna be in there with him. I am astounded he is not up for eviction this week. Maybe there are all too weak to go up against him. He seems to be able to control the others to a certain extent. I cannot believe Sarah gave him that power. Was he not already on a big enough power trip?

Agree except I am glad they don't nominate him because I think it would get a little boring to watch. He so confuses me, sometimes I love him and he makes me laugh and other times I cringe and shake my head.

Agreed. My partner thought Sarah was a cult leader, but I think Ben is.
 
Snakes hearts have only three chambers and are capable of moving around the body, and around large prey that is being digested. Ben's prey is spat out rather than digested, so I would say no. Not a snakes heart.
I am really impressed by Ben's ability to get housemates to nominate his way. His only problem is that he can't hypnotise us into voting his way.
He is not popular in the house, though, never has been. The core group of Michael and the pot plants should have got him up and kept him up for noms, if they were smart. But they are not, and I am afraid sweet Stacey will suffer - they will nominate her when they should nominate him, and I am guessing that harmless, fun Stacey will be gone before him.
Although, if Ben can get Josh gone before he goes himself, he will be a useful housemate.

This view of the non Ben HMs is far more degrading than anything Ben himself is accused of doing to them. They are weak and stupid and able to be controlled, apparently. They are not agents of their own destinies. Their brains are no longer their boss.

The problem with this view is that they don't seem moronic enough to be that easily manipulated. To balance the equation we need to elevate Ben to an evil mastermind status. This thread is arguing that he's a super villain with special manimal powers. Maybe some accident in a reptile house led to this. The only opponent able to match him will have to be an intruder in a spandex costume and cape.
