I can't blve you have all the episodes on tape. I found BB07 dragged on way 2 long but yes, I can remember that part with Billy walking in and the look of dismay on Hayley's face![]()
I only started watching BB in 03, so I missed the first 2 series.....have got most of them on tape since 04 and the only year I found that dragged on a bit was 06. Watched a bit of it late last year and Jamie bored me to tears, he would have to be the dullest HM since Trevor and they both won their respective series.....go figure that one:g:
If it wasn't for Aleisha in 07 I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much though....the "walk on water" bit killed me, she was a classic....

I actually think differently to you. I found Jamie to be a fantastic housemate and very deserving of the win. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it seemed that they never showed much of Trevor and the audience didn't get an insight into how Trevor really was - apparantly he was the funniest housemate and always made people laugh. I don't recall seeing him make jokes once.
I never thought much of Aleisha, she was like a wannabe Regina. Regina was funny dumb, Aleisha was just dumb dumb. I found 07 to be one of the most boring years in BB. I still wish Travis had won that year. He seemed the nicest housemate and most genuine. Aleisha and Zach really irritated me.

p.s - I don't know what you are referring to when you say "walk on water", probably shows how uninterested I was in Aleisha
Then you haven't seen much of BB7, that term was used early on in the show. The phone call from the Aus house to the BBUK house and Brian Belo talking to Aliesha and told her "walk on water" blew her away as he had been watching BBAU before going into the BBUK house.

The very thought of Jamie and his ham smelling hair still makes me want to vomit. Nasty, grotty little man, that one.
I didn't think Aleisha was dumb though. I thought she was very young and a bit naive - but not dumb.

I saw all of BB7, just never took note of the "walk on water". The only ep I missed was the calling to UK

Yea, maybe dumb wasn't the right word, but she was definitely naive.

Fair enough, if we were all the same life would be boring

The walk on water bit was early on in the show when a few of the male HMs were sitting on the cushions at the end of the pool one night and Aleisha walked up and noticed how calm the water was....she made a comment like "the water is so still you could almost walk on it". At that point Bodie started convincing her that she could walk on water and then started one of his chants, repeating "walk on water, walk on water......" with the other guys joining in. They eventually convinced her to try it with the obvious results, but it was quite funny at the time and probably does prove what a dummy she was.....though she was a lovable "dummy" and I couldn't help but like her. As you did with other HMs that I probably disliked (like Jamie).
We can't all be the same.....but that's cool

Ohh yes, that does ring a bell now about the walking on water. Thx for the reminder. Cheers.

Yeah maybe naive is a better way to describe her than "dumb" or "dummy".....but whatever you want to call her she provided good entertainment...

Yeah and thinking back Brian said how much he enjoyed watching her and wished her luck as it was near the end of our series.......and after Aleisha winning here, Brian won BBUK that year (I think?)

I just never found her entertaining. The fact that she always sided with Emma irked me up the wrong way! Then when Emma left she suddenly was everyone's friend. Her friendship with Emma made me dislike her from the start. Emma was horrible to everyone and so up herself! Mind you, she was quite pleasant along with Aleisha when I actually met them in real life, so it just shows you how you really don't know what the contestants are like when you just watch then on TV.

I was never an Emma fan but we also have to take into account that there was a lot of creative editing done. They showed the contestants exactly how they wanted them to appear. Obviously it suited their purpose to have an Evil Emma and a minion Alicia.

Creative editing is an understatement, when you think the daily shows only went for about 23 minutes minus the ads and they had to cram a day's worth of highlights into that short time.....it's no wonder most of the HMs were portrayed differently to what they are like in real life

So true wynter and BehindTheMike, but at the same time, I only spoke to Emma for about 5 minutes and Aleisha about 20 minutes or so, so, it's also hard to tell someone's personality just by chatting to them. Going by the way Emma was on TV, she certainly isn't sum1 I would want to hang around with.......yet, she was very pleasant when I chatted with her. So, I guess the only REAL way to know is to actually live with them yourself!

There's not much chance of that happening (living with Emma or Aleisha ;-) but I get your point.....Watching them on BB makes you feel like you know them but at the end of the day it's just a show and the HMs are just a bunch of "actors" in a kind of soapie.
Emma did come across as a cold bitch....nicknamed her "vampyra" when I watched the show, but maybe I was a bit unkind....

I'm fairly sure I saw Billy from BB7 on Thursday Night Live tonight as one of the models outside doing a barbeque.. I'll try to get a pic.
Edit:
If it's not him then it's someone who looks an awful lot like him.

Yes, that is definitely him but what is "Thursday Night Live" ?
Looks like it's on Foxtel cos that is the IQ pause/play symbol I can see on the screen but I have no idea what it is.
