I can't help but think of this:

Even as you read this, white people are telling other white people about the golden age of Hip Hop that they experienced in a suburban high school or through a viewing of The Wackness.

If you are good at concealing laughter and contempt, you should ask a white person about “Real Hip Hop.” They will quickly tell you about how they don’t listen to “Commercial Hip Hop” (aka music that black people actually enjoy), and that they much prefer “Classic Hip Hop.”

“I don’t listen to that commercial stuff. I’m more into the Real Hip Hop, you know? KRS One, Del Tha Funkee Homosapien, De La Soul, Wu Tang, you know, The Old School.”

Hahaha oh man that's frighteningly accurate.

I don't think that article is entirely fair though. There is a lot more crap hip-hop on the charts today. But that's not to say I don't like any modern commercial hip-hop. I love Kanye, Lupe Fiasco and Jay-Z and such. But there's a lot of horrible rappers out there like 50 Cent, Soulja Boy and so on.

Dave Sitek - With A Girl Like You
This is so good! Dave Sitek is mainly known as a producer for bands such as the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and TV on the Radio and as far as I know this is the first track he's performed on. This is a cover of The Troggs and it's wonderful. It has a very reverb soaked sound and is rather atmospheric. I love it.
