"Too many stories" says Alex Mavroidakis

While that might be partly true, if that's really how Travis and Aisha are spending each and every day in there together (which, according to evicted HM's is apparently not so true) then the editors and producers of the show SHOULD be showing it. Otherwise, it's just putting across a manipulated version of their times in the house to the viewers.

Using this situation between Travis and Aisha simply as an example, we are supposed to see the HM's for who they are all the time and how they act and interact in that house. As much as seeing Travis and Aisha together all the time would make us sick to our stomach (remember Josh and Ava in 2012? :vomit:), at least it would be an accurate reflection of them as HM's. I feel like it's deceitful not to show us that.

Do they need to show one single more second for us to KNOW that Travis and Aisha are a thing though? I think they've made it clear and then chosen to show us more interesting stuff
 
If you're struggling to put together a coherent story because there's too much content, perhaps it's best to hire someone who can actually take their workload and utilise footage properly, because there may be three or four storylines happening but I can barely name two of them tbh.
 
If there are 3-4 stories happening why can't you show about half an hour of each story.

So that takes up 2 hours & you can have half an hour of the other stuff at the end.
 
I call bullshit too. If there are so many stories why are they stuck on the boring Clawson thing and why are they bringing in fkg Ben next week. Get rid of the crap, get rid of the booooooring rehashes that take up 25% of each episode and get rid of the manufacturing of stories. Nothing happened in the fkg bath! Even if it did, that story has been flogged to death. Its old. Move on and show us some interesting CURRENT footage.

If they didn't scrap the live updates they'd be able to cover the whole day's events in update and short clip form on the website and then show the major storylines / events on the Daily Show. And like someone else said, instead of dragging events / storylines out over several nights, do it in one episode - the first episode after the event occurred - and then post a blog on the website with further information / extra clips like they did the past 2 years.
 
So, I think Alex Mavroidakis should send Behind Big Brother a memo each day of these daily storylines that did not make the day's daily show.

And then leave the rest to the Behind Big Brother community as a collective filling in missing detail. :hilarious:
 
So they admit to having to build a narrative. So much for "Big Brother".

Perhaps Channel 9 should just revive E Street, it'd be a lot cheaper.

I don't buy the "too many stories/not enough time" bullshit, if that were the case they would cull half the usual daily episode to remove:

  • PREVIOUSLY ON BIG BROTHER - not a recap of what happened THE DAY BEFORE
  • Turning BB into a variety show
  • "Comic elements" - nobody needs a montage of the HMs making beds in Hotel uniforms to a classical music overlay
  • The mundane - HEY EVERYONE, LET'S CUT A FUCKING ONION!!!!!!!! YAAAASSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!
...amongst other things.
 
Too many stories ----- then why do we have to put up with the Lowson magic shows, poodles & watching the 'cast' eat ???

Give us more daily show time & live feeds so we can work out these 'stories' ourselves... (although I doubt very much that what Mavroditus tells us would be anywhere near the truth)....
 
Has BB production team a skeleton staff or something? With a lot of holes they could fill in channel nine's scheduling, we're not shown a hell of alot of material.
