I think the format is really expensive. Endemol should definitely look about lowing the cost for Channel 10 in this day and age. Everybody wins then or the Big Brother format just ends up on the shelf. The show will never reach the high days again so cost should be lower. 10 will also have to make a deal with dreamworld. I don't mind if the show is very basic and cheap for it's first season on 10 like it was here on 9 in 2012. As long as we get good content and live feeds back it would be fine to have cheap stage etc.
Ironically this is the most expensive season of Big Brother ever according to @Goon and the ratings are terrible.
