Masterchef 2021
- Thread starter February
- Start date
I can't say I watched the start of this as I watched the last episode of MAFS again!
Not sure this will hold my attention like in the past.
This opener is good
Amazing food.....wish somebody I know could cook like this
I usually can’t cope with MC, it’s too hectic, noisy, loud
Liking this
I always find the first couple of episodes a bit hectic but then I love it when the contestants have been chosen and they move on to challenges like the mystery box and invention tests etc. So far most of the contestants have cooked some amazing dishes...I REALLY don't know how they can produce such complex things in just 75 mins...it would take me all day even if I had the expertise!

SAPIOSEXUAL
I like the opening MC shows and can’t cope when they begin competing
That’s when it gets hectic and noisy
Well that was quite easy flipping about, helps that they haven’t been able to synchronise their add breaks yet
DWTS is a dead loss, don’t even know most of them, and it is so daggy & boring
Lego is too boring watching the show, just like the reveals

HAVE A NECTARINE, GONK
I can't bear channel chopping between shows, I watch all or nothing.
Usually I watch the least interesting one (ie. DWTS) first while having tea/doing the dishes/feeding the cats, while recording the more interesting one (Masterchef) to watch afterwards.
Anyway, it was a good start to Masterchef, with lots of diverse and clever cooks already.
It's a bit fake the way the judges greet the contestants as though they've never heard of them before, like the 'experts' on MAFS pretending they haven't watched the footage.
But it's a much nicer show overall.

I think, therefore I am, I think ...
Was that meant to be cooky guy (Which is apt for this show), or was that meant to be cocky?Hope the cooky guy from adds makes it
Con I think his name is
His utterly perfect quote makes him a winner
Judges...concerned about his weird efforts
“Can anything go wrong”
Con, “nah, it’s just food”
This should be engraved on every single cooking show
He certainly got told when he answered back
I bet they launch him!

Yes Cameron I think. When we’re not even told what they’re making, it makes it kind of obvious. Is that the Itallian one with the glasses?
