An update on forum business.

Username changes​

You can now change your username within your user settings. Just be aware of some of the rules:

• You can only change your username once every six months.
• You cannot change your username to one that was previously used by another member.
• For transparency, your previous usernames will be available in your profile.
  Likewise if you don't recognise a member, you can check out their previous usernames in their profile (or hover over their name in threads). Hover over this icon and it will show previous usernames:
  

Delete your account​

If you really, really want to, you can delete your account in account settings. There's a 7 day grace period between requesting and deletion. During this time, you can cancel the deletion. Once the account is deleted, your email and password will be removed from the BBB database. This means I can never "recover" your account or reassign old posts to a new registered account. Your existing posts will remain visible, but will be under a guest username.

Archived forum posts before 2013​

This was requested a fair bit and I was super keen. But. I've spent a lot of time looking into this and pulling out my hair: Turns out when I was younger and a bit more ~RECKLESS~, I wasn't very good at keeping website backups. Right now I have semi-corrupt copies of databases for old vBulletin software that isn't used very much anymore. I found everything on a hard drive stuffed at the back of a closet. It's a mega nightmare and isn't straight forward to just upload. I'm still trying but this is looking unlikely sorry.

The main reason for getting the archive was for the very dense BBB Fan Diaries from early seasons of the show. However, all of these episodes are now on Youtube so...

Viewing threads created by people you've ignored​

This is fixed now. You can now see threads created by people you've ignored. You will still not see their posts.
