Upcoming nominations - Estelle

I know it's still a few days away but I'm curious what you think the upcoming nominations has in store for Estelle.

For Estelle there is a danger that the HMs will think they should just re-nominate the same people they did last time. Psychologically it would be so much easier and would save them from having to think too much about it. :rolleyes:

At the last nominations Estelle was selected by:

Angie - 2 points
Layla - 2 points
Michael - 2 points, and
Stacey - 2 points

Angie, Layla and Michael are all serial Estelle nominators. Angie has failed to nominate Estelle only twice. Michael has nominated Estelle the last 5 nominations straight, and Layla 4 out of the last 5. For Estelle, obviously a lot depends on how these guys are feeling.

Michael: You could bet the house that Michael will choose from Sam, Angie and Estelle. There's no reason to believe he will not nominate Estelle; over the last week he has bitched about Estelle and Angie non stop, and there doesn't seem to be any HMs he dislikes more.

Layla: Really struggles when she needs to think about selecting HMs for nominations. She formed her opinion in the first week and since then Estelle has been her go-to-gal when it comes to nominations, for the simple reason the whole process is 'too difficult'. The only other HMs she has nominated that haven't already been evicted are Ben and Angie. But, is there anyone that's been annoying her lately? I think she didn't appreciate the Red Team talking down Sam, so she might throw some points their way. Ben might cop a few points.

Angie: Of these three, I think Angie is most likely to not nominate Estelle this week. She certainly wants Estelle gone, but Michael might be on her radar now, and after her chat with Ben in Switzerland I wouldn't be surprised if she followed her usual pattern of nominating any HM right after they've had a heart-to-heart chat about Angie's house issues.

Eek, didn't mean for this to turn into a dissertation.

Not a few days away, pretty sure nominations are tomorrow night as normal?

Sadly, I suspect they will take the easy way out and go to the same nominees as last week. What is unknown as always of course is what the super power will be, who it will go to and what role it will play. As we now know, Josh will be live on the show, so I think it is fair to assume he will be given the super power to alocate, and I think we can say with reasonable confidence it will go to Michael.

We have seen in the updates that discussions have taken place about the so-called 4 "meepers", so I think it's fair that Michael, Ben, Zoe and Stacey may well nominate similarly. Layla often goes to Estelle as mentioned, as does Angie. So I really can't see Estelle not being up sadly, hope to be wrong of course. Oh well, we will just have to save her again! :)
 
We we saw in the 50/50 conversation. Ben and Michael were discussion to only nominate from Sam, Estelle, Angie or Layla.

Layla will still have some loyalty to the others and nominate Angie and Estelle.

Although she'll get some from the shithead crew.
 
It's getting closer and closer to the end now. I'm hoping that they'll all start to nominate strategically a bit more. The two alpha males in the house, Michael and Ben, should start to nominate each other soon, surely. I think Angie and Layla will continue to nominate Estelle, though, because they don't want to play nicely with her at recess.
 
Well Layla has nominated Estelle 2 weeks in a row (I think), for strategy. Which annoys me because if Layla was nominating for strategy she would vote for people who haven't been up before! It's a bullshit reason. Anyway I think she will do the same this week because I think she has trouble coming up with reasons to vote for people. And if BB has accepted her reason 2 times before then she will just keep using it.
 
We do not know if Sam has swayed Layla in her voting noms. Under the cover signals etc. He went for Josh last week and it maybe Ben or Michael this week. He most likely thinks he will beat any of the girls he is up against.

Yeah, BB has generally been a complete soft-cock with the house-mates this season. Mind you, it's not too late for BB to change things and tighten the rules to stop the lame-excuse nominations.
 
How does the winner get decided? Is it a public vote? If so, the HMs should start voting for startegy by putting up different threesomes of people to get the pulse of the public's preferences.

I agree. He should have put his foot down so to speak the week that they had to nominate for strategy. A good proportion of the reasons that time didn't make sense at all.

right. instead of putting his foot down, BB said "so you're saying...." to make their nom sound like it had more credence for strategy.
 
They're all stupid. They should be nominating strategically to get rid of the stronger contestants and leave themselves with the weak. The only one attempting this was Zoe by nominating Michael recently. You wouldn't want to be in the final four with Michael, Zoe, Ben and Stacey. Wouldn't you rather be Ben or Michael up against Angie and Estelle.
 
Yeah its going to be another really boring nominations show. However, if the 'meeper' group are smart we might at least get Michael up for eviction instead of Estelle. I'd love if Stacey was up too.

I agree that Michael/Ben are actually STUPID voting for the same people hoping for their favourites in the final 4. Zoe is actually more likeable than they are and could easily beat them if they are all in the final week together.

But are the 'meeper' group aware that they are seen as a group? I don't even think half of them are even aware that they're being derogatively called meepers.

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I suspect Michael will be nommed this week, and Estelle will dodge it for another week.
 
I am not sure if I am doing this right, but here goes!

For 4 points I would like to nominate the Estelle Fans to be evicted from the Behind Big Brother forums, because they are all bona fide fucking BoNkErS.

For 1 point I would like to nominate the Anti-Estelle Fans to be evicted from the Behind Big Brother forums because while they are all bona fide fucking BoNkErS, they are not quite at the bonkers level of the fully blown Estelle fan.
