He's got heart.

My pick of the intruders. Let's discuss Tom, the charity worker.

Heart was the crappiest power in Captain Planet.

He should of got fire.

Heart's OK. The fact that he's not appearing to be a model/actor/serial promoter is a good start. Optimistic, but as always, preparing to be disappointed.

Don't think so. Looks like BB Tom has earlobes, and this guy doesn't. Do we have a confirmed surname yet?

Think you might be right. Definite resemblance and coincidental occupation. Close, but no cigar. Remaining a mystery for now, as it should be.

"marketing manager Tom, 26, who are both from Victoria".

Tom is a “mummy’s boy” who has spent years travelling and is a volunteer at a children’s hospital in his spare time.

“Seeing the toughness and resilience of the children along with their zest for life really has helped put my own into perspective.”

Ohhh nice. Go Tom! He looks friendly and likeable, I reckon the other HM's will like him.

He's very lanky. I feel like I have definitely seen him somewhere before but I am too suspicious of the casting process now.

TOM, 26 (NSW)
Marketing Manager

Tom admits to being blessed with an easy life and has a very close relationship with his family who know everything about him, especially Mum. “I’m a Mummy’s boy.”

A passionate and honest person, he likes his opinions to be known and makes an effort to stay well educated on a range of topics. Tom has spent years traveling the world which has had a profound impact on his life. “I have seen and experienced both the good and bad overseas and that has shaped me into who I am today and the decisions I make.”

“I get extremely frustrated by selfishness, closed minded attitudes the when people are driven by the amount of money they have and their social status. There is more to life than work, money and how beautiful you look.”

Tom volunteers at the Sydney Children’s Hospital in their weekend play program. “Seeing the toughness and resilience of the children along with their zest for life really has helped put my own into perspective. Life should never be that hard – you only have one shot at life, try and make the most of each day and never wish a moment away.”

Eager to please people and a self-confessed yes-man, Tom tackles life with gusto each day. “If you’re not a morning person, you might struggle with my level of intensity at 7am!”

Wow, he looks good on paper. Why wasn't this guy an original HM? Looking forward to seeing how he goes.
