Thinking of Meglos (Brad) & his family today

@Kaz It is very sweet of you to remember today and to start this remembrance thread with some kind words about Brad/Meglos.

Anniversaries are hard. I feel for his family and friends as today would be very tough.

Every time Adelaide is mentioned somewhere, I always think of him. I often wondered what his thoughts would have been on the various TV shows that have aired in the last 12 months, such as the latest seasons of I’m A Celebrity and Survivor. I imagine he would have been very excited with the rest of us that Big Brother was finally coming back to Channel 10 this year. His comments are very much missed. His presence around here is deeply missed. There are some conversations I wish I had with him, but I always thought he’d be here. I hope he understands.

I was thinking about this recently. Very similar to @Nan_Taylor. They passed within a couple weeks of each other. She passed in late April.

May they both rest in peace.

…losing both Meglos and Nan Taylor were a shock to me at the time… I miss Meglos with his sound logical discussions with everyone on various subjects and how he usually won you over to his logical argument in the end due to his great art of persuasion… especially with anything to do with Doctor Who lol!… and Nan Taylor… what a fantastic whirlwind she was with her fantastic sense of humour that she had… yup!… nearly every single word she ever said cracked me up… and that is usually hard to do… I truly wish that I had met Brad and Nan in real life in person… that’s the type of people they were… I miss them both… thanks to the both of them for the great memories… cheers.
