The real reason why Ben was sacked from Virgin

There's too much BS on these forums regarding why Ben was sacked from Virgin. I worked with Ben, as well as some of his ex-coworkers so I know the real truth. He was sacked because he started giving out free beverages such as coke and orange juice when in fact a customer is only entilted to a complimentary tea, coffee and water. He never asked the on board flight manager if he could offer a free beverages to customers. Other customers complained that they had to purchase a beverage and yet other people recieved a free beverage. That is why he was sacked. Personally I and most of his co-workers are disappointed that Virgin never gave him a written warning before he was sacked. Because other Virgin employees sometimes offer free beverages to some customers on flights discreetly (including myself, until Ben was fired) So now you know the truth, so stop the BS lies about why he was sacked. Rant over.
 
Can we get an IP check on this guy and see what his original account is? (unless he's using a proxy)
 
He doesn't seem to warrant enough interest for most people here to care why he was sacked. [MENTION=4970]ferous[/MENTION] asked the question and [MENTION=33411]Consuela[/MENTION] replied that he was dismissed but we're not sure of the reason why. That was over 12 hours ago and the thread dedicated to him hasn't had a post since so I'm not sure who you're asking to "stop the BS lies".

If you really want to set the record straight about something interesting, tell us why a 30 year old man who lives alone can't chop a vegetable or cook a veggie patty. People are much more curious about that than why he left some job.

Interesting, that's pretty poor though that he didn't get a warning first, exactly why I try not to fly with the cheap airlines that's just ridiculous!
 
I thought he was fired because of his anxiety disorder which had gotten worse.
I think Ben is probably more capable with a lot of things in the house than he makes out but has lead a sheltered life as well.
His playing up to his strengths and weaknesses for BB

As I find it hard to believe that a 30 year old is that stupid & also did he take his photos of his Mum & Nana with him to show them where he worked etc.
 
Strange reason to be sacked and even stranger that someone would create an account just to tell us that. Not sure how I feel when random people come on here and start telling us the personal life of housemates from people that apparently know them (not that I'm saying you don't know him) but excuse me if I am sceptical.

He is rather smart, but naive. Don't confuse quirkiness with stupidity.
 
Let's hope the Virgin bigwigs aren't perusing these forums because Jasonb has just outed himself as a discreet free non-complimentary beverage provider.
 
I thought it has always been a running theme on bbb that posters who know the house mates personally are welcome to come and divulge personal knowledge on them to clear up any issues? Not sure why this thread is being treated differently today
 
TBH if he was giving drinks away to some passengers, which I assume is clearly a breach of the company policy, I'd say even considered stealing, then he deserved to be terminated. Full stop.

Oh and also, Virgin sucks big fat hairy monkey balls. Richard Branson can kiss my lily white ass. The end. :p
 
Look I don't know Ben personally, I only worked with him on a couple of flights.
