What's the format to this - the trailer doesn't really sell it by making it seem to be all about digging holes (though Time Team got multiple series out of that concept!)

It looked to me like a cross between Survivor and the Amazing Race, not too bad a first episode.
The host though, Jason Dundas - ugh!
