Episode Survivor: Brains vs Brawn - Episode 19

…which players actually know how to play Survivor and understand tactics?…

  • Total voters
    7
I missed that whole end, my cousin was annoying me. What happened ?

…they all voted to vote for who is voting and when the voting had finished the voters had to vote on how long the voting had to vote for and when that voting was voted on then a new lot of voting had to happen to make sure that the voting was legitimate… as it happened… it was found that the voting wasn’t done properly so another vote had to decide the outcome of the legitimacy of the previous vote… that in turn caused the voters to hesitate and wonder if their vote was going to be a truly legitimate vote this time around… so they voted to vote on the voting that would end up deciding if the voting was worth voting for… as it happened… they all decided to vote that the voting wasn’t worth the time voting for the vote that happened to be what they were voting for so they just voted to vote for the voting as it was originally was so they carried out the final vote to vote out Logan…. I hope that answers your question Zcsund… I’d hate to confuse you my friend… cheers.

…wow!… I had 6 voters vote in the Poll tonight!… is that a record?… anyway… so Logan went instead of Zara?… how the fuck has Zara even got this far?… she adds sweet fuck all to this show… thanks for all the fun tonight my peeps!… you’re my fam!… nite all… sleep tight… pleasant dreams… cheers.

He remains likeable though. I still think he’d have a good chance with the jury if he gets to the end.
Yeah he’s (Kaelan) very likeable. But likability on its own is insufficient to convince a jury if you don’t elucidate and defend your game convincingly. If he’s paired with Myles or AJ, even though they maybe less respected, it would be tough..

If either AJ or Myles get to the final I see one of them winning it. They are comfortable talking and have lots of good examples to let roll off their tongues.

Yeah tonight was a fun episode. Also glad that it’s down to two episodes / week. I would be ok with one episode / week for 3 months tbh.

God, that episode felt like it went on forever. Enjoyed the plotting scenes though for once only for 7 hours into the programme to remember they spoiled it last episode that it could go to rocks so it was probably all for nothing.

Always best to stay at camp during a reward but dumb for them not to work Kate. Clearly benefitted both AJ and Kristin to throw the challenge to ensure both Logan and Zara could go. Of course Myles was given his 73rd idol of the season. They never seem to reference if AJ still has one - I swear he won one but don't remember him playing it.

Tribal and rocks was an anti-climax in the end. No logic at all in the girls switching their vote other than fearing a one in five chance. Kaelan should have just voted Zara knowing he was safe anyway.

One episode a week SUCKS.

I can't get into the American version as it airs because it takes so long for anything to happen.

You have me wondering now… Does he have an idol? @Zcsund1234 is our knowledge base here.

I don’t *think* he has an idol. If memory serves correctly he played it way back.

I do have an additional question for @Zcsund1234 regarding confessional count : do you count when they are speaking from what would be a confessional but you don’t actually see them? Such as when production is playing a recording whilst showing them doing some activity for context or thought process? Or do you have to see them for it to be counted?

Have you been watching any of the last (since season 40) seasons? They are pretty fast paced and have a hundred advantage types and twists for everyone.. Lately they have a lot happening. But the quality level of characters and story telling went down. Also since last year they increased the episode length, which, yeah, makes it much more of a drag and it feels like less is happening.

I get very bored with US season. Hoping for a season 50 improvement.

Edit: ooooh you mean takes ages because you have to wait a whole week for next episode… never mind lol. Im just enjoying this particular season this much that it would prolong the enjoyment lol

It did annoy me today when they talked about having 9 days left but as viewers we now have 16 days thanks to Channel 10 playing the last 6 episodes over 3 weeks rather than 2.

I do prefer how three episodes a week means the show is almost broadcast in real time in relation to how long they've been there.

AJ did have an idol but he played it the same episode Paulie played his and Noonan went home. Myles is the only person in the game who currently has an idol.

I only count that as a confessional if they are shown talking on screen by the end of it. If it’s just audio playing over a camp scene and we don’t see the speaking contestant then I don’t count it. If there’s a scene in between confessionals like a decently lengthened conversation, interaction between other players or scenery shots then that’s when I split the confessional.

I usually use ten seconds as a rule to differentiate between lengthy confessionals. I’m sure my count is off compared to others, I’ve seen other charts online having players higher or lower, but not by a drastic amount.
